If I could rate the store negative stars I would do so. The dark headed girl working the store is extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and rude and clearly based on the other reviews, whoever owns the store doesn’t seem to care about their customer base, which is laughable isn’t that the reason you own a business and you’re losing all your customers, not a wise business strategy. Save your money don’t go into this crowded cluttered, Nick Nac Store, and deal with the staff (women with black hair) she definitely needs classes in customer relations or to be fired. Don’t waste your time at the store and don’t give them any business. I have made the mistake in going there at least 4 to 5 times and it has been the same result with the same individual or they’re always closed when their store hours indicate they’re open. Will no longer get my business and now that I read the reviews seems like I’m not alone a lot of angry customers in LaCosta. Good luck with your store It won’t be profitable at the rate they are losing customers and clearly not reading reviews and making appropriate changes in staff.

The owner is literally the nicest woman in the world. I’m so much happier to give my biz $ to an independently owned shop like this than a FedEx Ship or the post office. They’re always so helpful here! And it’s super clean and cute with lovely little gifts as well.

The store employee, Jocelyn, will drag out your claim for an undelivered/lost package, by making YOU, the customer, be the party to chase down reimbursement from the store-took me 3 months to be reimbursed, after 6 or more visits to the store and several phone calls and emails. Then I was told she was uncomfortable with me in her store, because I told her my wait for resolution was ridiculous. I was then told by Jocelyn not to come back to her store. What a "wonderful" customer experience!!!

Useless store and customer service. Went today to drop off two FedEx returns. 5 lb each. Both the size of a poster, 1 inch width. Woman refused them because they “took up too much space” in her “small store.” Ridiculous. She had the audacity to tell me to “try another Postal Annex.” Moronic. No wonder this store has terrible reviews.

I stopped using this postal annex because of how much they overcharge, but decided to come back because of the convenience of the location. I immediately regret that decision. The staff is so incredibly rude. Today I popped in to drop some thing off for UPS that was ready to go. The lady working was helping another customer so I asked very politely if I could just leave it and go since I don't need a receipt. She answered rudely that she was with a customer and I should wait at the other counter. I asked again if I could just drop and go and she refused to answer a simple yes or no. I politely said I would come back in a minute, since I also had to drop off dry cleaning next-door. She then began talking negatively about me to the customer before I even was out of door! I normally don't want to write a bad review that might hurt peoples livelihood, but this is a pattern with this store that simply needs to stop. I regret giving them a second chance to earn my business. Needless to say they didn't.

I recently had passport pictures taken. I requested 2 x 2 size photos. I was charged over $100 for 6 pictures. When I arrived at the immigration office, I was told the pictures were to small and would have to have them retaken. Please learn from my mistake, measure your pictures prior to paying and leaving if you need specific size.

I have not come across such a rude and nasty sales person in a long time. The woman with long curly black hair treated me like she was doing me a big favor. I have been in there several times and haven't had great service but this was ridiculous.

This is the second time I have used PostalAnnex. Both times I have had issues getting my package where it needs to go because the address isn't valid with the delivery service (Fedx or DHL). They should know that they don't ship to PO Boxes before charging me $100 to ship something and then pay more to change the address later on. Also, yesterday I went to ship something and another customer asked a question so the cashier women turned around and answered her. Then told me that "she was more important than me" (another customer). I was waiting patiently and didn't even care about the exchange until she made that comment. She saw my face and then apologized and tried to say that it was an uncalled for comment. Who tells another customer who was just charged over $70 that they are less important and expected to be cut off when needed? I will NEVER go to any location again. No matter what location, I always seem to have issues.

I went in the get a passport photo. I even called ahead right before I left my house to make sure that they provided that service. When I went in I asked for a passport photo. The lady with the black hair, I believe her name was Jocelyn, helped me. She asked if I had my paperwork, which I did. She looked it over which I thought was strange. When she was done she told me that the total was $85. I asked her why she was charging me that astronomical price. She said for passport service. I told her that I only asked for a photo and I refused to pay that amount. She took off $23.60 for labor and then told me it was $66.39. I was still so mad. She said the remainder was $18.99 + tax for the photo and $45.93 for the USPS priority Mail Express envelope. I had my kids with me and just needed to get out of there so I paid and left. When I went to the Post Office to mail the envelope I asked how much they would have charged and it was $23. Postal Annex marked up the post office price by almost 100%!!! In addition, she had a line of people waiting and did not even acknowledge them. 2 customers backed me up and felt really bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they left after I did. I will never go back again. And a word of advice, if you need to mail something via USPS, Fed-Ex or UPS, go directly to them!!!

If I could rate this 0 stars even that would not be good enough. Jocelyn with the black hair is the rudest employee i have ever met. She acts like every single customer is an inconvenience and is rude. I came to drop off my packages and she informed me to go to the post office down the street because "there was no room for my packages" I had already set them down on the counter while she was working with one patron. I did not interrupt her while she was working with the customer, once I left I realized 1 box was a ups box and called her to make sure ups would pick it up. She told me that she would call me back because the line was too long. I called at 4:00 to politely ask her if she pulled the box for ups, she told me that the mail person had done it and when I asked her if all my boxes were picked up today she said she didn't know because she didn't see the postal person. I tried to be polite as possible while she was yelling at me on the phone and telling me I had interrupted her with her one paying customer and yelling at me her "version" of what happened which was untrue. And than I yelled at her telling her the truth about me dropping off 8 packages And then she hung up on me. I hope my packages get to their destination. If they do not reach their destination I expect to be totally refunded or I will take the owner to small claims court. Jocelyn should be fired she has no business working with the public, and hopefully Vicki the owner will send Jocelyn to anger management classes. She should not be working at customer service. I will never step foot in that store again. After reading others reveiws giving the store a 1 star rating and sharing their unpleasant encounters with Jocelyn it might be worth driving to Encinitas where they have a 4 star rating And the employees are nice.

Terrible! Would not answer me if I was in the right spot to stand in line. No customer service at all. I rarely write reviews, but took the time after walking out of this store. Like many other reviews, I also encountered the very rude lady with black hair.

The owners are incredibly disrespectful to their own staff, accusatory and demanding. Please do not give this place your money or business, they screw over all of their staff, the woman owner will deduct peoples pay checks with out proper paper work, falsely taking pay.Under paid and over work people.They really shouldn’t be in business anymore, out of touch with reality. Very toxic work environment no matter how had you work. Please stop giving these people your money.
