Same as other reviews. Understaffed. Make you self check out with lines and maybe if you're lucky one checkout open with a actual person...... and a long line.

I’ve been going to this Ralph’s for years and I always receive amazing service. So many of the employees have been there for so long. It’s nice to see familiar faces.
I did have an extra positive experience today with Jacklyn.
I had just reluctantly downloaded the app to get the extra coupon savings. She was super helpful in giving me a quick coupon technology training on how to clip them and store them in my app. Jacklyn was sweet, professional, and very helpful! Great job to the Store Director for always hiring great employees.

Do not buy gift cards from Ralph's total scam!!! They take your money no problem but will not help you with a just purchased gift card that doesn't work!!! Management couldn't care less and basically said not our problem. I spend over $350 a week there and will never shop there again!

Lived near here for a decade. It has really fallen off and it's extremely sad. The self checkout alone is reason not to go - the barcode sensors don't work or lag and it constantly errors out requiring help - completely defeating the purpose of using it. Infuriating. It's a long list of issues and will likely never return - there's too many other options nearby. This place is for tourists now (always was) and is way overpriced and full of junk and sub par produce, bakery and meats. Avoid.

even though this is by far the closest food store to my house. I will drive to Aldi or Winco to do my shopping. I resent getting ripped off by Ralphs and Vons 3X the price for the same items

I visited this store several times while vacationing in Carlsbad. The store is well stocked. The Starbucks leader Avis was rude not only once but at all 3 visits over the weekend. This is NOT a good look. Suggestion: be kind. Be considerate. BE PROFESSIONAL! Greet your customers with a "welcome to Starbucks" not, what do you want! On average, the American spends 12 to 15 dollars per order at Starbucks which on average is 30 minutes of hard labor to make that money and to have a Starbucks Leader be rude 3 times, unacceptable! Avis, I suggest some empathetic communication skills training. You would leave a much better impression. Ralph's, do better.
