Replaced my wife’s windshield with a warped Windshield. They told her it was faulty when they gave it back and booked a new appointment to replace the warped one. When she showed up for her appointment no one was there. Called the call center, they told us they would let the shop know. No returned call. Horrible experience.

I've had the most horrible experience with this Safelite location. I've been here a total of THREE times!!! The first windshield replacement was done with poor workmanship, as it resulted in a loud air leak AND multiple scrapes on the black film meant to serve as an extension of the visor. So I go back for the 2nd time for another replacement. After the second replacement the technician said that the seal wasn't right so he had to order more parts to make it right AND will result in needing another new glass. So I go in for a 3rd time in a span of 3 weeks. Mind you, I'm having to ask my husband and my daughter to help me drop off and pick the car during this process, so not only is it an inconvenience for me but for my family members as well. So the 3rd time I go back, a person (not sure if he was a technician or not) tells me that he can just glue the piece back on and that there was never a need for me to come a 3rd time. So I'm waiting in the lobby while he's trying to glue it on. I'm in the shoo now for a total of 45 minutes and am now late for work. This 3rd appointment was meant to be for a "drop off only" and instead becomes this ordeal of not only wasting my time of having to back a 3rd time, but also making me late for work.I would absolutely not recommend this place. I've escalated the experience to the district manager. (BTW, good luck trying to get through to a live human when you call the 800 number, I had to select the sales option like I was going to buy a new glass just so my call can get routed to someone!)

Safelite of Oceanside was awesome! The staff was friendly and professional, and they did a great job with my windshield in record time. I highly recommend them.

We had a broken window on the side door of our minivan. Of course, it was a rainy weekend in San Diego. We went with Safelite because they had the earliest availability. Safelite was not the lowest price. In fact, after using the online tool to schedule, we didn't complete the reservation at first. Within the hour, we got an email from Safelite with a $50 off discount to complete the reservation. Other local providers had stronger pricing if you're not in a rush.We paid the extra $50 to have the mobile repair done. The technician texted ahead of time and arrived towards the beginning of the 1 to 5pm timeframe. The technician thought it'd take about an hour. 2 hours later the technician is stuck and asks to drive our minivan to the Oceanside location to complete the repair. The technician returns around 5pm with the glass replaced. At first, we noticed there was some glass still on the floor & a screw that was left off. No big deal. We asked why we were charged $40 for a recycling fee (the window was destroyed and we had disposed of most of the original window beside any residue in the door). The technician isn't empowered to make any financial concessions. The next day we notice that the door handle wasn't reinstalled correctly. We called to have someone come out to fix the door handle. The first available mobile appointment was about a week out. They came and fixed the handle. Some more glass came out of the door. No big deal except instead of sweeping the glass into a dustpan and throwing the glass in the garbage the technician swept it into the road.Ultimately the glass was repaired, our door was reinstalled correctly BUT we paid a premium and dealt with a little bit of a hassle. If you have the time, I'd try out a local shop next time.

After waiting for more than ten days, one of the employees of this company came to repair the windshield of my car. He put a substance on the scratch on the bottle and it was over and gone. I told him that the scratch was still there. He told me this is what I can do. Nothing else can be done. My car is new and I don't want this scratch to appear on the windshield. Is there really no device or anything that removes this scratch? I could have bought a juicer and applied this material myself. If an auto glass repair company can't fix the glass, who can?

I have an older Truck that has peeling paint: but I don't like the new 4" scratch on the fender by the windshield. I vacuumed before the service and had to vacuum after service: left dirty. Receipt says exterior windows cleaned: not done. The plastic cowling has screws securing the corners: cowling was placed on top of the screws. The ground strap attached from the firewall to the hood was left disconnected. The nut to attach the ground strap was missing and the strap was purposely stuffed under the cowling to hide it. (Just tell me you lost the nut and I will fix it) That says a lot about a persons integrity and lack of honesty. There is a channel in the cowling for the windshield washer plastic tubing. The cowling was placed on top of the tubing and not in the channel. Today i will water test it by washing the vehicle and hopefully i will not have leaks and I hope the wipers still work.

They were amazing from start to finish. I started off 10 minutes late. No issues. The front desk representative was exceptional. She is a keeper. Awed at her patience and understanding. I tend to interrupt when I have a question and she was as nice as can be. The gentleman with the glasses double checked it once we got there and I had chosen the wrong glass online. Understandable right? The manager came lurking out of her office and told me how it is! LOL! She was a boss lady for sure. I definitely learned something that morning. She could have been a little sweeter, but her experience saved me from paying more than I should have. The kind of woman you you can only dream about. The front desk lady told me to come from 7:30 am - 9:30 am the next day. Being a good boy, I came right at 7:30 am. Buddy with the glasses was there. Took my keys and said see you soon. Done by 9:30 am. Even the shop guy who came to drop off the car was the nicest dude ever. Exceptional service. Do you even care about the product anymore? I mean they installed it and it looked great! Had me in and out in 10 minutes to finish. They all deserve a raise!

Booked 2 weeks in advance, waited all day, and then got told that the replacement windshield broke and had to rebook another appointment 3 weeks later. Go somewhere else.

They finally fixed their blotch after 2 months on my gear shift box frame. It just took some annoyance from their customer service to contact the manager and the district manager. Literally took like 15 minutes to replace, and it looks just like new. What a horrible experience. I am glad they made it right to fix it but I would never come back for a windshield replacement.

Who needs a superhero when you've got Safelite AutoGlass in Oceanside, California? They're the Batman of windshields, the Spider-Man of auto glass, the... well, you get the idea. Our tale of woe began one Saturday afternoon at 3:32 PM. My boyfriend and I were cruising down the PCH in our vintage baby - a pristine 1976 Datsun 280z, still sporting its original glass. Suddenly, a rogue rock decided to interrupt our joyride. Crash! A chip, just slightly bigger than a quarter, appeared on our windshield. My boyfriend was devastated, to say the least. Desperate, I remembered my previous rendezvous with the Safelite superheroes a few years back when they replaced my Jeep's windshield with the finesse of a Swiss watchmaker. The time was ticking though, and we rushed to the station. The digital clock in our car hit 3:59 PM when we skidded into their lot. The drama was at fever pitch. Bounding out of the car, I dramatically declared, "We need a hero." The receptionist, clearly not a fan of impromptu auditions for action movies, gently reminded us of their 2 PM cutoff for walk-ins. Panic set in. Visions of our windshield giving up the ghost and our Datsun's visage forever marred flashed in front of my eyes. This was our last stand. I channeled my inner puppy dog eyes, using every trick in the book, trying to convince her that our car needed some immediate TLC. Then, like the shining beacon of hope he is, out came Frank. Our glass guru, our windshield whisperer, our... okay, I'll stop now. But Frank! The man's a saint, like a true maverick, he took on our case, treated our baby with the care and precision it deserved, and had us back on the road by 4:19 PM. I've attached pictures as proof of this epic saga. From devastation to euphoria, all in under 20 minutes. To anyone who values their car, time, and peace of mind - Safelite Oceanside should be your go-to. Frank and the team, you've gained loyal patrons for life. Our car group will certainly hear of your heroics! PS. If they ever decide to make a movie about a gang of auto glass heroes, I'd recommend they start with Frank. Marvel, I hope you're taking notes!

Had a great experience with Safelite in the past. I was told it could take up to 8 hours to get my windshield replaced :( I was pleasantly surprised that it only took 2 hours. I was disappointed to find fragments of rubber on my dash and floor boards. I would have given 5 stars if they would have clean up.

Very very poor communication between them and clients. We had to wait 10 days to get our driver side window repaired. We were patient in the process and kept a plastic cover over our window. We then dropped our car off for our appointment 10 days after our car got damaged only for them to say they can’t replace the window because it’s not in stock. I get that things aren’t always in stock but that’s the first thing they should have looked into before confirming our appointment. These past 10 days we could have looked for other options instead of getting our hopes up. It’s just been a lot of waisted time working with them. With how poor they communicate with their clients I do not recommend their services.
