Studio 6 Carlsbad, CA

Studio 6 Carlsbad offers spacious rooms with nice decorations, full-size fridges, and a prime location near the beach, a park, restaurants, and an outlet mall. The staff is frequently described as warm, welcoming, accommodating, and going above and beyond to provide outstanding and helpful customer service. Specific staff members are noted as being extremely helpful and polite. However, experiences with cleanliness and management are inconsistent. While some guests appreciate renovations, others report significant issues. Complaints include filthy conditions, such as stained bedsheets, a toilet with a blood stain, pet hair everywhere, an unvacuumed floor, and a sticky remote. The pool area has been disappointing and sometimes smells bad. There is also a complaint about items, including gum and plastic containers, going missing from a room after housekeeping service. A minor check-in delay was also mentioned. The hotel is on the older side but has undergone renovations. For some guests, the excellent service and prime location make it a comfortable choice, while others feel it needs new management due to cleanliness problems.
