Really really special service from these guys today. Moving is not fun ever, but this team made it as painless and organized as possible. James, Justin, Emmanuel, and Jonathan all showed exemplary service, professionalism, and tireless work ethic. They kept the house in good shape, and all of my belongings were treated with care. The pricing was fair and straightforward and worth every penny. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

James and Justin are awesome. I saw all the good feedback on the website and thinking "are they really that good?" I need someone so I decided to try. We are so pleased with service (help). They actually deserved more than 5 stars. As far as value, I don't know what is the right value should be; regardless quality service is what matters.

Like I said in my previous review I was superiorly disappointed with Superior Movers service. I got an email from Yelp, I guess the driver Jonathan got them to remove my review because Yelp says you can't say things about a person on Yelp. So I will use these different words: the air very close to that driver smelled like weed. Also we got charged 2x what was in the estimate quote and they make a tip mandatory even after they charged double and left scrapes in the hallway of our rental including the common stairwell. The property manager charged us for that and we still had to pay for some of the damage.Very bad and very sneaky too. Definitely 1 star!

My boyfriend and I have used superior movers three times in the past year, and every time they have been on time, professional, and great to work with! Highly recommend.

James and Justin of Superior Movers did an awesome job with my last minute office move. They packed everything, moved it, and put it all back together very quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Superior Movers!

Used Superior Movers for a move from Del Mar to University City last week and couldn't be happier with the experience. All three of our movers, Jonathan, Jason and Justin were very professional and personable. Got us moved out of a tri-level 4 bedroom and into a 5 bedroom house in just over 4 hours. Every precaution was taken by the team to ensure that nothing was damaged, so everything made it to the new house in perfect shape. Cost was exactly what we were quoted, no surprise charges or fees at the end. Hope we don't have to move again any time soon but if/when we do, I know who I'll be calling.

Superior Movers is by far the best moving company out there! Very patient, responsive, on time and reliable. I had to move my moving dates a few times and Jonathan was always very responsive and patient. They even made my move over a holiday weekend. These guys rock! I will definitely use again!

BEWARE!!! they took a month longer than quoted and after loading my stuff they call me and hold my stuff hostage unless i pay additional $1500. thay already knew the size of my storage unit and quoted my the largest possible amount. they set me up cause I had already moved out of state and trusted them to do me right. upon show up a month late I watched them unload the truck drop many boxes and watched a mover drop my $900 gas WEBER grill on its face. I was missing many things including bed frame and my purchased garment box was missing and all my hanging closed were stuffed into another crushed box and covered in transmission fluid from another crunched box. all in all over $2500 in missing and damaged stuff they filed a claim and reimbursed me $85 dollar. don't do business with these clowns!!!

Was the 1st time I needed a "full service" moving co. Superior Movers exceeded all of my expectations. Prompt, efficient, and attention to detail. I used them twice within 1 month. You DEFINITELY get MORE than you pay for with this company!!

We hired Jonathan and five more of the Superior Movers team for a commercial office move in May 2022. They were fantastic and worked hard the entire time - 3 very long days. Furniture, equipment, supplies, files, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g for 20 offices plus Conference Room, Kitchen/Breakroom, storage and more. Up and down elevators required at both locations. Thorough communication kept us all on the same page - daily start & stop actual times, progress made, daily scope of work expected and adjustments needed, etc. Jonathan was very hands on - managing his team professionally and efficiently, while working on the bulkiest aspects himself. We absolutely recommend Superior Movers!

Shady bandit movers that overcharged:Jonathan Sheets quoted $400, move ended up costing $1800.They were unlicensed and likely uninsured when they moved me. See photo from State of California.Lessons learned: Always check licensing and insurance, and beware of predatory people out there ready to victimize consumers.

BEWARE. Seriously, beware. Shady bandit movers! DO NOT trust your precious belongings to Superior Movers, or whatever variation of the name they're using on their duplicate Yelp pages now. The owners of Superior Movers were bandit movers for YEARS, only recently getting the required California permit, which got suspended at least once since. In business since 2011? Ha -- completely unlicensed most of that time. See photo. The two owners (Jonathan and Leah Sheets) will act oh so nice. They fawned all over me in Carlsbad through a social group and buttered me up for their scam. Jonathan quoted about $400 for my move. Clearly, the move was already off to a bad start when I had to tell them no to the driver they were sending, because I'd seen him snorting lines of something recently. (Neither Jonathan or Leah were physically involved with the move, which was good, because they're usually high on mushrooms or ecstasy -- I'd also regularly witnessed that). Although they secured another driver, the bad start continued when they sent too small of a truck. The move therefore required two trips. That "$400" move? $1800. I later learned that they WEREN'T EVEN LICENSED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, probably had NO insurance, and definitely didn't have workers comp. If they stole or destroyed my belongings, who knows if I'd get any compensation. If one of the movers got injured on my property, I could be liable. You'll notice there are two Yelp listings for Superior Movers. This company plays a shell game by going under at least three different names: they may call themselves Superior Movers, Superior Movers USA, Superior Movers LLC, etc. But it's all Jonathan and Leah Sheets... and, wonder why, they offer a 8.5% incentive for paying them in cash. I SUED THEM ALL, AND I WON. See San Diego County Small Claims Case 37-2020-00045579-SC-SC-CTL. There are laws in effect that protect consumers and punish movers who evade licensing, and you can get your full cost of your move refunded. It's called "disgorgement," and it means movers who put themselves at an unfair advantage by foregoing licensing costs and fees must return their ill-gotten gains. California Business and Professions Code 19237(a) states: "A household mover shall not engage, or attempt to engage, in the business of the transportation of used household goods and personal effects by motor vehicle over any public highway in this state" unless "there is in force a permit issued by the bureau [CA Bureau of Household Goods and Services] authorizing those operations." CBPC 19237(b) further states: "A person who utilizes the services of a household mover operating in violation of subdivision (a) may bring an action in any court of competent jurisdiction in this state to recover all compensation paid to that household mover." (And yeah, they go to great lengths to dodge process servers) If Superior Movers / Sheets moved you, you should check their license status with the state too. See -- call the office to determine license and insurance status on the dates they moved you. And if the state tells you they weren't licensed, get that documented -- like in the photo I've shared -- and get yourself a refund in court. Lesson learned: there are predatory people and businesses out there ready to victimize consumers. Before you engage any service business, it pays to investigate BEFORE you fork over cash, no matter how "nice" they initially seem.

I found this company thru google reviews and I have to say Im very pleased with my service. Jonathan; James Will and Marcos were very professional and extremely helpful! I had heavy furniture that I couldnt move myself and they handled it like a champ- when moving into the new house Jonathan helped decide which way to set up the furniture in the bedrooms because of them being captain beds with drawers on 1 side only it would have worked the way we had the rooms set up before in the old house. I believe you pay for what you get I did have other options of moving companies with lower prices- however the reviews for those companies werent as high as Superior Movers. Im happy they were here to help- if I ever have to move again I will use them and refer them to anyone I hear that needs movers
