Good tiny bar. Paul is a nice, if soft spoken, bartender. They have Guinness (but don't pour it correctly). Reason for -1 is no liquor.

Great little pub in the heart of Carlsbad village. Amberly was the bartender when I was in, very friendly and personable. Seemed she had a decent crowd of regulars at the end of the bar so that was nice to see. FYI... it's the cleanest mirror behind the bar I've ever seen. I thought the bar was twice as big from what I remember. LOL I'll be back for sure.... Peace FrankieG

Just a tiny pug that is a long time staple in Carlsbad. Beers relatively cheap for the area with a friendly vibe. Bonus $2 beers everytime train goes by.

Super homey, quirky, awesome establishment. I had been coming to Carlsbad for around a year before actually stepping foot inside Village Pub, and boy was that wasted time! One of the best places in Carlsbad, hands down.
