I bought a pair of cow boy boots here when I was in Carmel for a wedding in 2014. I absolutely love these boots! And, I get more comments on them than any other item I wear. (I place a heel insert in each shoe that I own so I can stroll or stand and be comfortable.). They are a statement piece so I wear with a monochromatic look.

My parents and I have had the great privilege of traveling in Turkey. There we tasted some of the most delicious food we'd ever experienced. If you can't make it to Turkey treat yourself to Artemis Restaurant in Carmel owned by Erkan Demir a Turk himself. The atmosphere is warm & inviting in a contemporary Mediterranean style; the servers are the same and very attentive; the food authentic and as fresh as it was in Turkey ~ truly mouth watering! The Turkish white wine we drank was utterly refreshing! We had such a good time my parents used the photo I took for their holiday card.

We spent a delicious Saturday night dinner here. We made some fairly last minute reservations for dinner but they were able to accommodate us with a window seat. The serving staff was very nice and the manager made sure that our glasses were never empty - simple things that many restaurants don't get right. The food was great. I highly recommend the stuffed quail. It was fantastic paired with their red wine reduction. The prices were frankly too low, which is shocking that I find myself saying that. For a dinner for two (2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and drinks) we made out for only $80, which in fancy Carmel, CA is pretty cheap. The only knock I would have is that they ran out of their signature dish by the time we were ready for dessert (around 8:30pm).

Best dolma I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious from the bread to the main course to coffee. I would definitely go back.

We came here by fluke and came inside because the lady who welcomed us just seemed so nice. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner !!! Service is quite friendly and the food was exquisite! If we didn't live accross the border into another country we'd definitely come back !

Have visited many Carmel restaurants but this was our first time here. Five stars because there is nothing to complain about. Service was first-class, not overly attentive but sufficient "passing by" to ensure our needs were taken care of. The food was excellent - salmon for me, chicken for my wife. We were then too full for dessert! Nice ambience, though of course that's subjective and depends what you're looking for!

What a lovely treat! I had one day by myself in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea and was so tickled to find this friendly place. I was warmly welcomed by Miss Sarah and had a delicious lunch. The mushroom bisque was amazing and was served with a basket of warm bread and a fantastic tomato pesto dip. I enjoyed my time at Artimis Carmel throughly and will make this my go to spot when in town.

Great little restaurant (little being the keyword here) with nice ambience, friendly service and healthy blend of Mediterranean and American food. Either cuisine is good and here's a distinct middle eastern flavor in all dishes (whatever that mean is completely subject). Liked the meats a lot even though other middle eastern joints area are equally as good when it comes to meats. Try a Turkish wine while you are at it! This is a great place if you or your friends are not totally into middle eastern but want something more interesting than straight American.

My Women of Wine Monterey Bay Supper Club swooped into Artemis last night and we all had a deliciously fun time. Sara was instrumental in the planning and execution of a sit down dinner for 42 women with educated palates. It was delightful and delicious and we all went away with smiles on our faces and full tummies. This little gem is too often overlooked for some of the best dining in Carmel. So, please give them a try and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Artemis and family.

Loved the food here and service was Mediterranean warm and friendly. I asked for a vegetarian stuffed eggplant which is in their lunch menu but not their dinner menu and they provided graciously. It was delicious! Another must is the dessert: the kunefe is a must. Think of a shredded baklava formed into a pancake, crisp on the outside, with a beautiful textured shredding of phyllo dough inside, honey, and a perfect vanilla ice cream w a dusting of pistachios!

An absolutely splendid Valentine's Day meal at Artemis with lovely food and just-as-lovely service. We walked in and saw the tables set with roses and chocolate and a special 4-course menu. It was terrific. The server talked to the chef who was able to make gluten-free adjustments so we could enjoy all four courses. To name the courses crab cake, poached pear salad, halibut (for me)/mushroom truffle ravioli (for companion) and cheesecake is to do injustice the the wonderful flavors in each course. The chef has a touch with reductions and sauces, and just-the-right sense of what highlights the star of each dish. Thanks to the chef, and hostess/servers Oceana and Sara for making this a very special night and a memorable meal.
