“This establishment hosted our yearly Bowling Awards dinner. I can see that this is a great community establishment where many events occur. The hall that we used sat around 70 people, with much more room for others. They have a full kitchen and bar. This place is normally a members-only establishment. Our event was a success and I would greatly recommend this establishment for others if they need space for events.”
“Went there for a Union meeting. Nice location, food was good, there's a swimming pool, cornhole boards, and of course a bar. I was told membership is $75 annually. Oh, and for RVer's, Mooses can camp there ( or is it referred to as parking?)”
“Gathering for Women provides not only hot meals, a hot shower, a place to receive mail, personal hygiene products, shoes, clothes, activities but, for me, most importantly a safe haven. The transition into homelessness is very difficult in so many ways body, mind and soul but to receive all of this 5 days a week is like a balm to my fears as I attempt to figure out what's next in my life. To that end Gathering for Women has partnered me with a beautiful, compassionate and kind case manager. She's helping me to find my footing and eager to help me along my path back to self-sufficiency. All she hopes is that I am willing to do the work, to show up for myself and actively seek to stand on my own again. She makes me want to give her reason to keep hoping; to believe that working together we can ease the struggle of this chapter in my life and move forward into the next. I would have given 5 stars but for 2 reasons. One is that some volunteers and staff in my opinion are there for the wrong reasons and need to ask themselves if it's community recognition and power that should motivate them to help women in my situation or kindness, compassion and respect. Secondly I personally disagree with allowing male volunteers at the facility and would only allow women volunteers. Oh, and lastly a big ask... Please consider donating not only dog food but cat food as well.”
“My wife and I stumbled upon this gem of a place recently, and we're kicking ourselves for not finding it sooner! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms by the incredibly friendly staff & veterans. The lunch atmosphere feels like a backyard BBQ, and the steaks and burgers have been cooked to perfection. We've been blown away by the quality of their lunches, and the prices are unbeatable compared to anything else in the area.I have to give a huge shoutout to Vicky, the bartender. She's an absolute sweetheart and takes pride in the place and the people. During our visit, we had a wonderful conversation with her and discovered that she, along with a few others, are volunteering their time and resources to fix and update the space.Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and unbeatable prices! We'll definitely be back soon.”

“Update: this store moved in August of 2022 and some of the pictures I shared are from the prior location. I just added some pictures of the new locatin. This one of my favorite thrift shops to visit when I am in town. Proceeds from donated items for sale helps volunteers rescue animals. Plus, I always find treasures, which makes it a fun adventure. The volunteers are caring people who stock the store with clothing, shoes, art, housewares, collectibles, jewelry, books, and pet supplies and more. Please consider donating your gently used items here as well as supporting them by shopping. They truly appreciate people who care and so do I!”

“I'm going to give a rating of five to this place because the ladies behind that glass at that location are some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with I watch them a few times deal with some of the most unruly and rude people in such a humane way and with such kindness and direct humanity that he gets a 5-star rating I'm not saying the social services on the whole is a fantastic experience you may be there for a little while if you show up on a day that it's busy as per the service from the three or four ladies that are behind that glass at that location the quality of service is above our five star.”
“Glad we got a chance to visit here and shop here. I got a cute sweater, skirt, well 2 sweaters and they're comfortable also and timeless! Ladies were really friendly and the guy at the front is very nice! Everyone here including the Filipino guy singing and dancing. Would come here again! Great selection of cute items that are classy and simple.”

“My son went to this school and was a very wonderful experience. He love it. The food its wonderful ms sandra is a sweeat heart as well as some teachers. They were very helpful and caring. My son loved going to this school hes in 3rd grade now and he says he misses this place. And he wants to go back. I love the graduations gows and ceremonies they have for the kids just plain beautiful. I cant wait for my 2 yr old to start at this school. 😊😊”

“They are amazing at helping people. The salvation helps people with rent or need a place to stay or gives food boxes, and helps out during christmas with toys by giving big bags of toys to people that sign up for or that need that for there kids. It is amazing what they do for the community.”

“My pomeranian dog that is only three and a half years old suffered from stones in his bladder and had to go get surgery the day of. I was shocked because I don't have any pet insurance and had to pay almost $4,000. Peace of mind dog rescue donated $300 while Max Helping Paws foundation donated $1,850. Wow! They are professional, timely, responsive, and kind hearted, my dog wouldn't have gone through the surgery and would have died that day or have even more serious medical complications because I would not have able to fully pay for the out of pocket medical costs.
