Everythng we ordered was outstanding! From the butternut squash ravioli to the grilled artichoke appetizer to the Matket Fish special (grilled diver scallops) to the chocolate s'more campfire dessert. Amazing!
About the restaurant: Visit Bernardus Lodge & Spa, where part of the organic vegetable garden surrounds a patio with fire pits and heaters. The interior of Lucia Restaurant & Bar is sleek, silver and elegant, but not stuffy.Food & Drinks: Chef Christian Ojeda offers his own takes on classic dishes, starting off with heirloom tomato salad with olive oil whipped feta cheese, local stone fruit, fennel, arugula-frisée and sumac-citrus vinaigrette. The meal might continue with salmon with roasted eggplant purée, summer succotash, blistered cherry tomatoes, English peas, charred corn and piquillo pepper olive relish, or pork chop with whole grain mustard spätzle, braised cabbage and preserved apricot-mustard reduction. Look out for the four-course menu that changes monthly. The sommelier's wine suggestions demonstrate skill and expertise with the menu. Understated service is efficient and just friendly enough.
