First of all, Jorge was delightful. They have a “no public restroom sign up” but he let us use the bathroom. He was so nice. Clean store, clean bathroom. Highly recommend stopping. We will be back to give Jorge money when we win the lottery. I will pee here again. Toilet paper. Soap in bathroom. Paper towels. Loved it.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We showed up at 9 pm needing help with putting air into our super deflated Tesla tires and the lady went FAR above and beyond to help us. Thank you so much and you guys are amazing

Worst worst worst... if you do your car wash here you're going to wait for at least an 40 mins. Just heed caution when you come here. Started my car wash at 10:00am still waiting it's 10:40 and I'm still waiting. Please just go somewhere else or do it yourself.

I took my car for a car wash, was the first in line and it took 35 minutes before it was sent through the wash. I spoke to Manager Melanie and she said that this car wash generally takes an hour. She was completely unsympathetic.

I rarely come here for gasoline, but Monday was an exception. Why? Gasoline prices here are ridiculously high -- Regular more than $1 than San Diego average, and almost $1.50 more than at Costco (where I was headed).This Shell station is conveniently located off Exit 1 on CA56, and across the street from a shopping center with a Pavillion's.

Been here a few times and got my car detailed once. Detail took way longer than estimated, and quality didn't correlate with price. They will always try to upsell a car wash to a detail- even if you don't have time for one. I only really go bc it's the closest car wash to me and the cashiers, convenience of being next to vons/eateries is nice.

They do not wash cars properly. Horrible job for $60!!!Unfortunately, my husband was in a hurry and didn't check the vehicle until he got back home.Windshield still dirty, stains on the door leather trim inside.Sand on the carpet, rear seat not even touched, candy wrappers left on the carpet (kids threw than there)They used to be good, but we will never go back.

Sadly this is not a once off. I had to ask them to send my vehicle to be washed a second time. It still came out terrible. Didn't clean under the wheel arches. Bugs left everywhere. Streaks of god knows what all over the vehicle. Asked for no product inside but they went ahead and used some anyway and didn't even apply it evenly. I have to ask myself why I even went back there! Never again. Terrible.

I have been to San Diego Gas and Car Wash a few times now to get my cars washed, and I have to say that it's a decent option for the price and location. I've brought four different cars here, and they've all come out clean and shiny.One thing I noticed is that the wash machine only sprays the cars. I didn't see any scrubbing or detailing going on, but that's actually a good thing for me since I have a wrapped car. I haven't tried getting it washed here yet, but I feel like it would be safe to do so without worrying about any damage to the wrap.Overall, San Diego Gas and Car Wash is a good option if you're looking for a basic car wash. The prices are reasonable, and the location is convenient. However, if you're willing to go outside of Carmel Valley, you may be able to find similar quality for less. Nonetheless, I would recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and need a quick wash.

Unfriendly stuff and rude employees I don't recommend this place to anyone If you wanna waste your time and money just go there,I'm giving 1star because they don't know how to provide service and prices are always changing anytime you go there they raise prices

I was completely out of gas and found this station on the map. I was able to manage getting here. It was a little after 10 pm but they were completely closed when I got there! The open sign was still hung in the window but the pumps were turned off and the doors were locked! The hours are listed as open till 11pm. Ridiculous.

This is a really affordable place to get a decent wash and clean inside and out of you car/truck. Only occasionally do i have any cause for complaint. I usually come away from there really happy with thr state of my car.

Took our Porsche to the car wash in a desperate situation (usually hand wash). Gave it a try despite the ratings, took a while so went to check in my car. The car had been washed, the water dried on the car while waiting to be dried (no cover). Saw the worker spraying blue winded all over the paint to remove the water spots!!!!!

Told me 25-30 minutes for the basic silver. 1 guy doing detail to dry all the cars. Took over an hr. Bait and switch. Avoid at all cost, poorly managed and staffed.
