Ancil Hoffman Park is a nice area with beautiful views of the river and an easy hiking trail. The golf course is always in good condition with greens that roll well. It is a great place to take dogs on a walk along the trails. The beach access trailhead offers complimentary life vests, and there is a cultural center worth a gander. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful deck for lunch, watch wildlife, and see people putt. Parking is ample at a cost, and road re-paving includes generous bike lanes. While the cafe is fine, the park can sometimes get trashed by community gatherings.
