I cannot say enough amazing things about Matha! This was the first time I went to her and I left the chair feeling like the best version of myself. She listens carefully to what I want, but also gives suggestions that always make the end result even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail is unmatched, whether it’s color, cut, or styling, she nails it every single time.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also creates the most welcoming, relaxed vibe in the salon. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and loves what she does. Already excited for my next appointment. I was able to contact her and book an appointment fast through messaging her directly and an app that she will provide.
If you’re looking for someone who’s consistent, creative, and truly gifted, this is your sign. She’s the best!

Matha is one of those hair stylists whose passion and dedication shines through her work. I've only gotten haircuts from her, but the amount of compliments I received were endless! I'm positive this was only possible due to Matha's incredible attention to detail. (Matha even noticed how thick my hair had gotten recently from my previous visit - which was honestly some time ago now.)
If you're looking for a new hair stylist, then you need to visit Class & Sass Salon. Trust me when I say that Matha will take the time to learn your hair, talk you through whatever it is you want or need, as well as deliver. P.S. She also makes great conversation!
For this visit, I asked for a U-shaped cut, some layers, as well as a trim because my ends were looking BAD! Attached are the results.

My family referred me to Matha because they praised not only her work but their overall experience with her. I felt convinced by their comments + her previous reviews and decided why not book with her, everything seems genuine and promising. I messaged her on facebook just to ask, before fully committing and booking with her, if she could achieve the color I wanted (as my aunt suggested me to do because she did this with Matha and successfully connected with her). To which Matha reads my message 2 minutes after I had sent it and never responds. I send a follow up message the following day just to make sure if she's even accepting new clients and no acknowledgement at all. She lacks communication, acknowledgement, And accountability. If she was busy, not accepting clients, had a busy day, etc., all could've been communicated and I would've been more than understanding but it's been 5 days since and still no communication or acknowledgement from her end. This is not only disappointing, but Extremely Unprofessional and I've never been confronted with an issue like this ever with any hair stylist.

So, I went to Matha for a pretty extreme haircut in mid January. Not only did she give me a ton of time, spending as much time as needed going through varied cuts till we hit what I was more or less aiming for, but... And this is why I came back to make sure I wrote a review on google! I don't know how she did it, but over a month later, the shaved part of my head (which should look awkward) is covered perfectly with the layers she had up top. IT EVEN LOOKS GREAT GROWING OUT! Matha, you have magic. Just amazing. Once my hair gets to where I want it, I will be back for more work on it (my style changes so often, I know). But yes, to anyone reading this, I am not joking. Buzzed hair growing out (undercut), and she had anticipated it like playing chess, set up a counter move cut. Love it. 110% (picture is over a month out from the haircut, so you can imagine the once super short hair that should be pushing the longer hair up and everywhere in a floofy mess. And this is dry, not styled, no gel)

Matha is amazing!!! My hair girl cancelled last minute for my wedding I was stressed but we reached out to Matha and she literally closed down her salon for us! We had so much fun and she even had mimosas for us. She was so kind and caring. My hair looked amazing I loved it and she even had some hair accessories. She went above and beyond for us and I would definitely come back to her salon.

Hi everyone I went to class and sass salon for my first hair appointment. I wasn't achieving my hair goals with my old hair stylist of many years so i decided to fine someone who was more educated with my Indian hair texture. A friend recommended Marta Her who is a seasoned hair stylist and a very smart, educated and amazing business women. I contacted her through IG first to discuss my issues, concerns and what my hair goals were. I needed to know if she was someone who is a good fit for my needs. She communicated with direct questions and in detail explained what was possible. I booked an appointment to give her talent a try. On the very first appointment she tried to fix my hair a little first making all the necessary suggestions and then on my second appointment is when the balayage session started. Her service time is 8 hours for this process and please don't be intimidated like I was when you think about sitting somewhere for 8 hours. I'm going to tell you it was so well worth it. Her approach to bleaching and coloring was way different then other hair stylist. She takes her time to process your hair carefully so your hair is not damaged. She's very educated with hair of different ethnicities and explains in details why she is doing the process and how. I was very worried at first but the result at the end left me speechless. So I got a balayage with golds and browns mixed with a hint of red color which made my hair look rose gold in natural lighting. I have never been suggested that color but I was quiet impressed how well her suggestion worked. I definitely recommend her because she really takes care of your hair. I'm keeping her.

I am beyond satisfied with my new hair done by the one and only Matha herself! The experience from beginning to finish was AMAZING. Matha is extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable of her work. She is very much passionate about her career and her clients. Matha actually cares about her clients wants and needs. She explained to me every step what she was putting in and doing to my hair which I highly appreciated so much from her. Her techniques were freakin awesome! We chatted we laughed and I just found my forever stylist at her beautiful very own salon I am obsessed with my new look and will definitely be returning when needing a touch up thank you so much Matha! I highly recommend class and sass to ANYONE!

Amazing! I have only been in carmichael for 1.5 years and have tried 2 different hairstylists but just didn't "click". As soon as I arrived Matha greeted me and began to ask my hair history (that's never happened) and gave ne options for my visit rather than "ok you booked a haircut let's get you in and out". She is extremely informative when it comes to products and hair. Martha brought my hair back to life after an at home bad bleach job. If that wasn't enough she is such great conversation! Matha was amazing! I always have had a hard time finding a good salon to trust and this place was perfect in every way possible. She explained the process very well and showed me the steps along the way to make sure I was good with it. The end result was just exactly what I wanted.

Matha was so welcoming and knowledgeable - for my eyebrows and teaching me how to do makeup for an out-of-state wedding. I had the most delightful time ever with her- doing makeup is not my strength; pretty much gave it up during the pandemic and I needed HELP! I highly recommend her; she is just so easy-going and helpful and an expert at what she does.

Well let me start off by saying I have never had a better time getting my hair done! Matha is awesome my daughter and I both got a cut from her today and we both are happy!
