I'm so terribly disappointed our wonderful SaveMart, and it's outstanding employees, have been replaced with a disgusting, overpriced, inferior big box store I will never give them my business, I was a good customer 20+ years at SaveMart. Nobody in this neighborhood wants a big box store over a family type setting we had. Terrible business decision.

Where are all the old employees I have been coming to this location for years and I am so sad to see them all go. I'm not sure what happened but this location use to be like a little family. Now it's no different then any other box store. My dad said the same thing he's disappointed they are not there. The employees are what made it so enjoyable to go there. I hope a few are able to return.

So sad so many employees absolutely no interaction and no service. Where are the amazing low prices? Produce quality extremely poor! No feeling of being valued as a customer

I was very excited to hear that the store was changing because I've been to FoodMaxxers before and they were pretty cool and had great prices but this is not the case. Everything here is so overpriced it's ridiculous. I walked in and as soon as I seen the prices I knew this place coming here was a bad idea. When you have cans of beans that are as high as the $3 amount then you know this place is going to screw you for everything you got. Plus, it looks like a warehouse. It really is an ugly store. I'd rather have another Walmart right here then this crap. Not going back.

Extremely disappointed this was converted to a FoodMaxx. I had been shopping at Save Mart for almost 10 years and loved it. Their staff was friendly; the produce was unbeatable and significantly better than other local grocers; the prices were great; and I often found wonderful organic products that other major grocery chains did not carry. Sadly, all of that is gone with this storefront becoming a FoodMaxx. I am blown away at the amount of money spent on renovations only to transform this wonderful neighborhood grocery store into an inferior establishment. What terrible business decision that lost not only my patronage, but also that of surrounding neighborhoods, as many have echoed the same sentiments.

One Star is too much !!! If I wanted to go to a " Warehouse " store I'd go to the little Walmart at Home Depot at least they have way better prices !! Soooo Disappointing you turned this " neighborhood " store into a food max !!! Not going to return, BAD MOVE !

So sad to see this store will no longer be Save Mart but is going to be a FoodMax with no customer service. I will have to find a new store and new friends because I will miss Marla, Harold, Anthony, Brandon and all my other Savemart friends.

Carts are dirty and hard to find. The whole place needs a refresh. The workers are pretty good and they have decent deals sometimes. I mostly go there for convenience since it's the closest but I don't get everything from there. The fresh produce seems to be reliable. It would get a better grade if the parking lot got cleaned, and they had clean carts and had both doors open in the front of the store. It really needs a facelift.

They had a very decent selection. I had trouble finding one item and I asked for help and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The prices seemed reasonable. I will shop here again and would recommend this store.

Foolishness allowed in front of SaveMart at this Carmichael location. Two young women seated in running car for over 20minutes near store entrance. Cars coming in and out trying to avoid head-on incidents and they never move. Watch an older gentleman come up in a motorized wheelchair. He throws a pillow in car and I thought he was going to be assisted in car. He had no groceries and then handed them some money, talked a few minutes and speed off in his motorized wheelchair.

I've experienced poorer customer service lately from this Bell Air market....I guess sign of the times.I arrived this morning near 10AM and inquired about their roasted cooked chickens, which weren't out yet. The clerk at the self checkout stand said he didn't know when they would be out and I had to go over to the Deli to ask?Ok...Then I stood for maybe 10 minutes and no one came out to help or ask if I needed help....finally a fellow came out from the meat department, looked me in the eyes then turned and went back into their back room without asking me anything!!So....I gave up waiting. Maybe its time to find another market for groceries? Bel Air prices have definitely been going up.Cheers All
