The CVS pharmacy on Marconi in Carmichael seems overwhelmed by people transferring from Rite Aid. Long lines and when you finally get to the front you may or may not be given the correct info. depending on which team member you speak with (there's quite a range when it comes to knowledge and competency). There is a high level of shared frustration when standing in line with other customers.

This gem is so so underrated! They serve a middle-upper class but also serve an immigrant population. It’s difficult for some of the locals to appreciate how they make us great.
This store is stressed, but that is not their fault. Corporate only looks at numbers.
CORPORATE HAS NO LOYALTY!!!!!

Disappointed that my rx was transferred here since Rite Aide closed. Management of CVS retail rudely complained that the line for the pharmacy(the only reason people come into this store) was blocking the retail aisle. They made us all merge into one long line that doesn't match their signage.Dumb CVS manager will lose their business too just like Rite Aide, figure it out people!

Long wait times. Nonhelpful staff. Under staffed. Medications piled all over the floor, being knocked over and dumped. I had a prescription transferred and came in 3 times waiting for 35 to 45 minutes each time being told it wasn't ready...Finally I asked when it would be ready, I was told that they only have 1 computer and to go to the drop off line where I waited for another 35 minutes. There the woman told me that they did not have it...I told her that the other pharmacy confirmed that it had been sent...she finally went to check the fax. There was a stack larger than a ream of paper worth of rxs stacked there. She dug through and found my prescriptions in the stack from 5 days earlier. That is ridiculous! I have never seen such a chaotic mess!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service with the pharmacy. Unprofessional, unorganized, and incompetent. Receives faxes from other pharmacies and just throws them in bins then tells the customer the fax was never received. Lazy, untruthful, and disrespectful towards assisting customers. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

The automated system was awful, it took so long just to leave a voicemail for a pharmacist? We can’t even call anymore? This crazy. With rite aid I could call right up, speak to a pharmacy no problem. I didn’t have to sit through 5 min of prompts and enter personal information just to get transferred to a VM.

I couldn't find a certain item at my local CVS, so I checked the CVS website and found that it was available at the Carmichael store, so I went to buy it. The inside of the store was old, but I was surprised at how spacious it was. I don't know if there is a lot of shoplifting going on, but expensive items were covered with acrylic panels and locked.
That may be the reason why there are no self-checkouts.
While I was shopping, there was a woman who was muttering to herself, and outside the CVS, there was a young man on a bicycle who was politely asking for money. I think he was of working age, so if he wanted money, he should get a job.
No matter how polite your language is, it is not good to ask for money from others.
However, I was happy to see T-shirts full of Carmichael's hometown pride. Unfortunately, I didn't buy one, but I love these kinds of T-shirts.
Drug stores are gradually closing down, but I hope this CVS Carmichael store will stay open for a long time.

Worst pharmacy in Sacramento. They text you that your medicine is ready and when you go there you wait hour for them to Help you. Every time I go they, don't have my med ready, they have me wait like an hour then will come and tell me they are closed and ask me to come again another day, and same thing the day after. or they ask me to go to another pharmacy. Workrs are super rude and unprofessional. They are very unorganized and they don't respect people's time.

Terrible customer service

The pharmacy always lacks sufficient employees compared to the level of customers. Usually, there’s one lazy employee at the front desk who is VERY SLOW. You have to wait for more than half an hour in the line to pick up your medicine. They definitely need to look back and improve their services.

I have been shopping at this CVS location on Marconi and Walnut for the past 8 years. In that time period I have had to deal with a rather grumpy employee named Mary. For many years I chalked it up to just her personality. But today I saw how she really is. I realize the store is going through a change in displays and they are having to lock things up. I asked her if the store had a certain product I was looking for, Her response in a dry, robotic, condescending manner was, It's normally on the back wall but until we get the locked cabinets we don't have it.Wow!!! Maybe an apology and how can I help response would have been better. We also witnessed a women( who was not homeless)ask if she could use the restroom. Mary's. response was" You can use it if you buy something"!! Wow. Why is this women in customer service!I am done with store and will no longer be shopping here.I have encountered other very nice employees. But because of lack of product and Keeping Mary I will go elsewhere.

Clean store! Filled with just about anything you need. Some items are locked up but it’s just the times we are in. Everyone’s friendly and smiling! I love this CVS store!

Everything is locked up, and no one answers the service button. Waiting 10+ minutes for someone- when I only needed the one item. Walked by at least two people stocking shelves to get to the aisle I needed, and no one even came by to check. If you have time to kill, whatever. Fine. But for some of us who have places to be? I’ll pay extra elsewhere.
