“Been going to this liquor store since it was circle K in the early 80s. Cigarettes are decently priced and the Beer is always cold and great selection of it too. The guy Raul that works is a great guy when he gets to know you and has some funny jokes once in a while. cheers”

“For those who don't have time, are going on vacation to the river or the mountains, are in a hurry, but forgot something simple, or are just passing by, I recommend not to miss this sincerely welcoming, small store-find, because there is not only dry food here; there are frozen sandwiches, even a small pizza, ice cream, different types of water, milk, eggs, some canned food, sweets and pastries, bread, ramen, soda, salt, sugar, nuts and sunflower seeds, hygiene products, something for your favorite animals (and the prices are cheaper than anywhere else, except for milk, which is very tasty), even cheaper than in supermarkets. At the checkout counter there are always some bananas, chewing candies. The entrance is the first on the right, if you enter from Auburn Boulevard, onto Manzanita Avenue, and the exit is on either of these two streets.”

“The customer service is very genuine because the owner handles the M-F 9-5 business day transactions at the counter himself, ensuring a sincere ear to all customer inquiries and suggestions. He definitely invests in his business. As a local to Carmichael I proudly shop here at Kay Bee Liquor for various small purchases like lotto, refreshments, and occasionally paper towels, etc. Their reputation is solid and their name well known beyond the boundaries of town. Although parking lot is somewhat limited there always seems to be a space available. Probably due to the quick checkout and easily located items. Always well stocked and clean, and staffed with honest employees.”

I grabbed the beer I wanted on my own, but when it came to spirits, a lovely gentleman with long hair helped me decide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind, all without being pushy or overly concerned with being salesy. I worked for over a decade in the beer, wine, and spirits industry, and this man was exactly the sort of 'Drink Sherpa' I needed in that moment, and the kind many other customers would benefit from. He explained the product, its unique properties, and its value, and I made the purchase. It was precisely what he prescribed, and I couldn't be happier. This is the epitome of how one develops a true, consistent clientele and earns trust. I felt compelled to share this so others might benefit from the honest, knowledgeable professionalism that sets this place apart from some gas station with a liquor license or a simple peddler of alcohol. This is a fine establishment that I'll recommend to peers and friends.”
