Now apparently this Raley’s has become a recycle center for all the homeless in the area……. Worse yet, when I express my dislike to the cashier I’m told I’m rude. The pictures only show the homeless out front, not the carts customer use to shop with filled with cans and glass from all area trash cans inside the store. Seriously, unbelievable. The worse this store has looked in 24years of shopping there. Bleach wipes anyone??

I visited the store on a Tuesday, about 9pm, to redeem 900 CRV aluminum cans and plastic bottles. I had called before arriving to confirm the policy and was surprised that they follow Calrecycles posted CA state laws to redeem all CRV during all business hours; unlike many in-store retailers nearby. The wait was under 5 mins. The staff was friendly and treated me respectfully. Other experiences redeeming CRV in-store are unpleasant and stressful, often leaving me feeling like my business there is unwanted and burdening. I really liked the relaxed atmosphere of the customers in self checkout and the lack of congestion in the parking lot unloading my CRV. The area is safe and also has fast food, liquor store, and gas station right there. I highly recommend this Raleys for all services offered.

Can you say charcuterie??This Raley's is just up the Boulevard from my RE/MAX Sierra Oaks office, aka HQ. Aside from Nugget Market in El Dorado Hills which I frequent for needs when I'm closer to that area, this Raley's location is the be all end all for handling specialty items specific to my personal cravings in my own home, preparing for social gatherings, dinner parties, or even the ladies brunches and game nights I'm known for.The selection of specialty cheeses exceeds Whole Foods and Trader Joe's ten times over, and I find unexpected goodies to add to my charcuterie spreads on a regular basis. The "Cellar" is a full-bodied experience with a fabulous wine selection that also comes at a surprise for a quaint upscale neighborhood grocer. It's a huge time saver to be able to make one stop, maybe two, for everything I need. This particular store isn't as big as some sister stores I've been to, and that's ok. It's clean, thoughtfully planned, well laid out, and makes shopping actually faster. I'd have to admit, although they have produce and floral departments, it's not where they excel. The meat and seafood department is great and well staffed with friendly people. There's a made to order deli sandwich counter, pre-made meals available, quick bites to grab, a Pete's Coffee shop inside with a nice open seating area. I generally prefer a grocery store deli counter sandwich to a chain sandwich shop while I'm on the run between clients, so this is an appreciated ammenity.Additionally, as I discussed in my review for the grocer further up the FOB, I've been using the store specific apps to explore digital "couponing" and if it really makes a difference in your bottom line. This is in the spirit of being a Mother of sons and teaching my own sons how to navigate inflation, save, invest, and plan for setting aside money for a down payment especially in our current economic climate. This was my second time using the app. The first time, I think I did better with savings. My cart had a lot of cheese and meat that weren't on sale. Despite that, my total reduced from $126.04 to $84.02. Exactly 33.33% off. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!#TheInappropriateRealtor

I'm done waiting for you to get it together. I have ordered online for more than a year. I've now ordered from Safeway and will continue to do so. I ordered once for delivery. It was over an hour late and the cold food was warm. Also. I have responded to several surveys with valid complaints and never once heard back. I'm over Raleys.

It took them 30 minutes to deliver 4 items I purchased earlier today with a pick up time 7-8 pm I arrived and checked in at 723 pm. They said they were short staffed but I never waited this long even in 2020. I will never shop there again! No stars by have to give at least 1

Unfortunately this Raleys is the closest to where I live. If it weren’t for the convenience, I would not shop here. With the exception of a few checkers, the staff is somewhat unfriendly or rather standoffish. They don’t have the variety of product that many of the neighboring Raleys stores offer. The overall customer is also very unfriendly. Just a store that you overall want to get in and get out of as quickly as possible.

Top notch the store is clean and well maintained. The personal are the best in the business. And the cashier's are professionals and polite and courteous.

Dear managers of the Raley's in Carmichael, I'd recommend you to fire Shannon the clerk and let her be in her place- become a private investigator or work at the dmv service. Just because she thinks that she knows more than a police officer who saw my license and all the dmv stuff who gave me my license. She didn't sell me one bottle of beer because the month of birth and the month of expiration are not the same, but she didn't want to hear that my license will be expired the day my work authorisation will be expired. I have no idea why this old lady thinks she is the most clever person ever and still works at the cashier's, she should be at least the prime minister. After this terrible experience I feel humiliated and ashamed and I hope you guys can do something about it. Will come back every evening trying to purchase the beer until this lady understands something.

If you eat meat I would stay very far away from this Raley's. Today we got a 4 pound bone in pork butt. When I opened the package the meat stunk. They told my wife they have nothing to do with the meat that comes in. Take it or leave it. From now on we're going to shop at Costo who has never let us down. By the way, the meat has always been disappointing at Raley's.

I've lived in the Fair Oaks/Arden Way neighborhood for 30+ years. Tonight I just had what looked like a manager/senior employee follow behind me and video tape me on their phone (their phone was held high at eye level) as I walked to my car in the parking lot (with two paid bags of groceries) at 9:30pm--as if I was stealing or looked funny? I drove back to the front to see the employee and three others laughing and pointing at the phone like there was a joke. If you don't want to be video taped at night, maybe try a different store

I actually like this Raley's. Ambiance is ok, but I hope you get Apple Pay. Service has always been kind. Food selection is great.
