I'll give zero start because they stole my 2 packages ? because I handed them but couldn't reach out to the rečeivers ever! No help to find out, no refunded. The worst service ever

Absolutely disgusting rude woman named Liz, and Mike who will steal your packages, are the ones to look out for. Never ship with Mike, I did, it never left the post office. I spoke with a supervisor one time, who took my information and was supposed to call me. He did not, but I understand. So about a week later I went in and was avoided by a supervisor after asking to speak with one. He left after I was waiting to speak with him. Uninterested, and unconcerned I assume. Today I went back, and by far the rudest employee yet, Liz, was also completely unhelpful. I will go back every day until I get an answer, or reimbursement for the lost package.Unfortunately it's Government, so we all know it will work out in their best favor, regardless of what is right.Never had an issue my whole life with the post office , UNTIL I started going to this location. Deplorable people, deplorable ethics. The only decent person I've spoken with was the first supervisor, that I unfortunately didn't get his name, but he did act concerned and listened to me, but maybe that was just a tactic, based on how the rest of the company operates.

PLS BE CAREFUL & BE AWARE: I was expecting a package in my PO Box and was given to some random person without verification at post office window. I CAN NOT FILE A CLAIM THRU UPS WHICH DELIVERED TO USPS & I CAN NOT EVEN FILE A CLAIM TO USPS BECAUSE MY TRACKING NUMBER IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A CLAIM. I am not renewing my PO Box.

I am giving US PS Carmichael five stars because of all the very good people I have encountered, with the exception of a person named Liz, she is about the most rudest person I have ever encountered, and should be forced to retire

My package was ran over and destroyed by USPS and they refuse too take responsibility for it telling me that maybe it was shipped that way. What the hell is wrong with these people They don't care about peoples products and zero customer service

UPDATE: Today (7/24/2023) I received 6 pieces of mail, all of them end-of-the-year (2022) financial documents. EIGHT MONTHS LATE! Should I also describe my experience turning in my rental box key (several months ago)? I actually was smart enough to video the entire experience! Employee (bald white male) repeatedly told me that the USPS doesn't give receipts/proof of key return. LOL! After all these experiences, there was NO WAY I was leaving w/out proof of return, so we went back and forth for awhile until a 2nd employee walked by, caught the gist of the convo, and said "Yes we do," then she poked a couple buttons and PRESTO, a receipt was produced. I actually don't even think the bald guy was ashamed of himself. Just embarrassed that his peer caught him messing with me, and schooled him.

If I could give them ZERO stars I absolutely would. The Carmichael post office is the worst. I already dread coming here because the people are SO rude...and then today I came to pick up a package and was told it is already being returned to sender. They hold packages for 15 days but after 20 questions I was told they start the return process on day 10. I don't get it. They should state they only hold packages for 10 days then. Would have saved me an hour in line. I scanned the QR code and my package was available for redelivery so I went back inside and was told that "it is not where it is supposed to be" and "she does not have the time to dig for my package" She then gave me a dirty look and excused me from her line. I hate this post office--if I had a choice I would go anywhere else.

Really? I have never had such a rotten post office experience in my entire life. When I arrived at the post office I discovered that they had very few priority shipping boxes, so I waited in line. When I got up to the counter I asked the postal worker "Do you have any large priority shipping boxes?" He than went in back and returned with a medium size priority shipping box. I said "I need to ship this large shoe box and the box you brought me is too small. Do you have a large box like I asked the first time? He said "No." I asked "what do you suggest I do? He said, "I dunno, but I can't help you...Next in line."Unbelievable.Where do I go to NOT sign his paycheck.

My parcels do not come to me, it is written that they are in the department, but they are lost or maybe one of the workers takes them for themselves ?! This is wrong, I paid money for them. Workers often lose letters or deliver them to the wrong address. Why doesn't management check, why doesn't the boss control this?

I always have high hopes for this place. The staff that work there are generally nice but the constant under staffing and sloth like movement of several of the staff is a constant reminder of why the USPS needs to be shut down. Many of the workers are the clear example of what most people think to an entitled government worker. If they spent the time they did avoiding helping customers that they did in actually helping customers it would function properly in terms of customer service.

Awful customer service by "Liz". Very loud woman. I went this morning to mail a letter and she came up with something new: First class mail didn't have tracking number unless certified. I told her I've mailed multiple letters first class from this office that included a tracking number. What did this lady do? She wanted to "embarrass me" in front of his coworkers and the public as she shouted to her peers: "She is saying you guys have done first class with tracking, have you?!" One of her coworkers said "there's no way I would do that". I told the lady that I was TELLING HER my experience and I'm not lying, so there was no need for her to put her colleagues on the spot or say things in front of the public. I told her if she wanted to say something to them, she should do it inside the facilities. Then I asked if she was a supervisor, as I was surprised of her bad tone and the show she put me through. She said "no. You wanna speak to a supervisor"? Then I said yes, but first complete this...After that horrible experience I went back home and found the receipts to prove " I am not a liar"… and went back to that office, hoping I could find a supervisor behind that little door and nobody answered. I didn't even want to go to the other side where that employee was, after the way she treated me. I want to file a complaint, as I felt very disrespected and I definitely think this is not the right way for these people to treat customers, but I didn't find anything online nor was I able to communicate with the customer care number. I never felt so disrespected and diminished in my life by someone. Even my blood pressure went up when this lady tried to ridicule me in front of everyone.

Usually longer lines than other post offices in the area. Plenty of parking though and the P.O. Box area is clean and safe.

Good service here in the Lobby. But their PO BOX SERVICE NEEDS MORE ATTENTION !!! I constantly get other people's mail in my box, and late deliveries on mail order items. MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS NEEDED.

Went in to return a E-ZPass, had called ahead and they told me to write a letter, and take the pass to the post office. On the device it says "Postage Guaranteed". Clara or Cassandra or whatever her name is decided she wasn't going to help me, which is fine, understand if you don't know or need to ask for help, but instead decided to give me a very condescending reading lesson. Which again while rude, is fine if you point out something that I did incorrectly or missed; but her reading lesson had added in words and incorrectly read out what was written on the device. When I pointed out she read it wrong, and I gave her a reading lesson back; she refused to help me or allow me to speak to anyone else.No one else wanted to speak to me or intervened and I decided to walk out before I lost my calm. From the reviews it looks like this post office needs an attitude and competency check. Hope someone can looks into this.
