Had a broken phone and went in to replace it, when I arrived there was a poster that advertised the exact same service, as I walked in I quoted the poster with a jubilant attitude for the new device. Within a few seconds of walking into the store I was treated with subtle but very harsh anger. The person working there was talking down on me with great significance as if I was a child. I felt extremely disrespected by her tone and attitude, as a black American her tone reminded me of a type of person with extreme prejudice for someone they have never met. With her violent tone I just tried to ask a few questions and kept a smile on my face and didn’t reciprocate her hateful excitement at my presence. I still want to buy a new phone with my money in my hand, but will go to another location after this interaction. Also she kept saying I “couldn’t afford it” and never went through the purchasing options properly as a sales person, I’m not the richest person but I already have a brand new iPad with data, and when purchasing that product other Verizon employees didn’t treat me as if I couldn’t afford it. Been a customer for a little over a decade and have bought 3 iPhones and two Ipads with no problem until now.

I waited for an hour. The service was dismissive. They did not have the product in the store so they ordered it. Verizon has charged me and said that the device was delivered. I have not received a call that the store received it. Now that I know it is not a Verizon Store, I will not go back.

EXPLOITING VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY
My father was recently upsold on hundreds of dollars of none refundable equipment by Yaquelin V. at Verizon in Carpinteria. She told my father that he could cancel what he was signing up for after 30 days and pressured him into signing her tablet without giving him the opportunity to look over the charges. (720 dollars in phone cases and screen protectors for two devices) and when he expressed his disappointment with the service and tried to return the equipment, they informed him that he could only get back a fraction of the money he paid. When confronted by my father that he wanted his money back and that he wanted to speak to a manager, Yaquelin laughed at him and said “i don’t care, you signed and we have your social security number and this will all get charged to your credit”
This is a very dishonest way of doing business, Kirk and Yaquelin should be ashamed of the way they take advantage of people. I PRAY that Verizon stops working with companies like Victra that allow these selling tactics to happen.

PREDATORY SELLING TACTICS
This store preys on the on older customers in our community by adding hundreds of dollars in unnecessary phone accessories. My husband recently tried to switch over to Verizon, was sold over 600 dollars in screen protector liquid for two devices. When we went to return our devices, we were told that we could only get back 259.96 of the 929.45 dollars we spend.
WE RETURNED THIER DEVICES WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD (30 days)

BUYER BEWARE
COMPLETE SCAM, After discussing about purchasing a new phone for zero down, the bill came out to a completely different amount. Verizon should be ashamed to work with third party dealers like this. My father in law was sold over 600 dollars in none refundable “screen protectors” for two devices. They prey on elderly clients by scrolling past all the amounts very quickly on a tablet and pressuring them sign on amounts they can’t review.

0 stars if I could! Jackie is so rude to most of the customers. Unless you're making a big purchase she'll treat you nice. If you're just in there trying to ask you question she will not help you. My aunt went in there yesterday and she automatically started adding items to her bill although my aunt had declined several times but she continued to do so. A few months ago I also witnessed how rude and unwelcoming she was to a couple more customers. She claims that she's the top #1 Verizon sales person which Is why she was moved to the Carpinteria location to make better sales! She may be making those sales by just adding unwanted items to customers bills. So not cool! Hannah and Sean were the stars there! I miss them. Verizon, I don't see how you can hire someone as rude as her to run this shop. Customer service should be a top priority. Verizon, you may lose customers because of this employee you have decided to hire.

My experience was good. However some customers had to wait "their turn" to receive the help they needed.

I ended up having 3 different reps that helped me with my purchase of 2 phones. Cody and Pedro were great, but I made purchase because of Savanna. She followed up on my 1st visit to the store and made it easy to make a decision.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced i came to this store because it’s very convenient for me because I live here in Carpinteria!, so I came here this past Friday September 8th around 2:30 or so, so mgmt. should know who worked that day? I waited about a half hour and I’ll give her a little break because she had a customer in front of her?, but no hello I’ll be with you in a few moments? And for ten to 15 mins. It was completely silence she wasn’t doing much of anything, the customer was looking something up on his phone?, so she had time to say something to me then?nothing! So my complaint is to mgmt. she needs a class in customer service!, she looked like 18 to 20ish so I doubt she cared one bit how she made me feel, so in between the half hour I finally had enough and stormed out of there! I’m waiting for mgmt. to tell me or apologize to me after all I’ve been with Verizon for more then this young lady has been alive!! If I could put a big fat ZERO I would! Upset customer in Carpinteria!!

Worst keeps getting worse, this girl must have been about 18 or so, obviously living under parents roof, but I go here after working 8 hours and I walk in, and not even a hello?, she was with a customer but not even I'll be with you in a few minutes, so after a good half hour of this rude little girl, waiting I finally stormed out this kind of hire shouldn't be a face of a big outfit like Verizon lousy lousy lousy!!!!
