The new Assistant Managers at this Rite Aid are surly, confrontational, and lazy - they refuse to accept payment in coins for a purchase under $10 and create a confrontation with customers who challenge them, on accepting coins and getting off their butts to help at the register when 6 people are in line while the 2 managers just watch from the office and continue chatting with another employee [if this had been a confidential meeting, the door would've been closed, don't you think?]. After 10 minutes in line i waved them out of the office and was yelled at - don't know why the new employee at the register didn't know to call for a second cashier. This is NOT how Rite Aid has been managed for the over 10 years i have been a customer there. It is very sad because the actual manager, Dave, is kind, considerate, helpful, and these assistant managers seem determined to undermine him, through defiance of long standing Rite Aid policies and not training new employees. If you get Lacey when you're there, proceed with caution as he is the assistant manager leading this charge of challenging and deny good customer service; his actions and anger indicate he feels superior to Rite Aid policies and practices.

For a small location they have everything I need and then some. They have an excellent selection of over the counter medications including for colds. Very grateful to the pharmacist who quickly and kindly filled an antibiotic prescription for me when I got bronchitis from my little granddaughter a couple of days before Christmas. Felt like old fashioned customer service you rarely see these days. Thank you!

Very small store but they have thrifty ice cream!!! this particular location caters more to the beach tourists. Plenty of sunblock options and boogie boards and even Carpinteria sweatshirts and T-shirts. Fun in the sun for everyone at DT, Linden Rite Aid. They do have a pharmacy

Rory's was closed one night and decided to try Thrifty Ice Cream for the first time in years. To my surprise, I loved it. I've gone back again. Only area I'd say needs improvement are the spoons they give. They are way too flimsy for frozen ice cream. Hope someone sees and improves!

Awful service trying to get pain medication after dental implant surgery. "I'm going to lunch and we'll call you". I went to Albertson's pharmacy and got my meds in 20 min.

Rarely write reviews but this store deserves it. Obviously we'll managed, always clean and well stocked. The pharmacy staff are friendly and everything I purchase is competitively priced.
