“Great place to find quality, mid-century modern furniture, and other items. Also a quality selection of vinyl records and clothing. Parking is a little tight but worth it to take a look. They also have restrooms which are very clean. Make sure to try the food place ‘Good Times’ across the street as well.”

“One of my favorite thrift stores in Long Beach. Prices are a little high for a thrift store but it’s a lot more curated than a Goodwill. Nice selection of men’s clothing, home decor, & knickknacks. Parking as well”

“Stars is a really fun place to browse and shop. The place is enormous. Any kind of antique or vintage item, you are likely to find in this store. You feel like a bona fide explorer as you wander around. There is an upstairs as well, but you have to be careful with the steep stairs as you go up and down. The 1000’s of items are many and varied, and you can find just about anything that is vintage in nature - knick knacks, clothes, shoes, books, jewelry, dishware, and on and on. Prices do vary greatly, though, so shop carefully. Enjoy!”
“I've had a couple pieces restored both turned out beautifully. A inlayed coffee table and a singer sewing machine. When we picked up the sewing machine it was much lighter than I thought and wanted, so I called them. Very nice an said to bring it back in they would restain it at no charge. That is the way to run a business. I appreciated their customer service.”
“I’ve been here twice now to sell random gold, and both times I’ve gotten a solid deal. I went to another gold appraiser and was offered $100 less, in three times the amount of time. The employees are quick to help the customers, and knowledgeable. Very clean even when the store has millions of items everywhere. Been very busy both times I went and I see why customers return. Definitely gonna keep Liberty Coin at the top of my list when I need to sell gold, 5/5 stars deserved.”

He explained everything I needed to know, fit me in at the last minute, and I know when I am ready to do the full restoration, I will definitely call him.”

“Tom and Noon are incredible. They came out to my house and would not stop until they found the exact right antique door knob for my door. I have had this knob worked on by two different people and no one could figure it out. I think they were working on it for 30 minutes straight. I was not expecting that level of customer service! “Casa De Luxe is the best vintage shop in Long Beach California hands down.The cool thing about this shop is they sell more than just beautiful clothing, they have gorgeous vintage / antique furniture and house wares. Lots of lovely vendors carefully selected with high quality items, all artfully curated. This spot has a lovely vibe & is great for buying gifts, definitely stop by if you're on 4th street. ✨”
“This place is just full of cool stuff. One of those places I drove by so many times and always said I would go and one day I finally did and all I could tell myself is I should have stopped in a long time ago. Definitely did not disappoint and I was wowed by all the cool stuff. So much history in there. The owner was super helpful and nice. I ended up buying a few pins. I collect them and he had a lot to look through. My husband is interested in a few big items so we definitely plan to go back. There is something for everyone in there. In my next visit I will take more pictures but for now I only have a picture of the pins I purchased.”

“Just met the owner today. Very nice, friendly respectable man. I am very interested in jewelry, antiques and hard to find (rare) items. His shop has plenty of that at reasonable prices. I look forward to shopping here again. He actually cares about his business and his neighbors. I can't see how anyone could give this business a negative review. Highly recommend this shop.”
“I have an old Seth Thomas mantle clock that has not been cleaned or lubricated for years.
I took it here for the work. Overall they did a great job but it did take returning to have them fix a few things that were missed. The third time it was solely my fault for not understanding the instructions.
They did make good on their promises. It took a while to get everything thing done but I have no way to measure whether that is an issue or not.
Communication is difficult because their phone system is really bad and you can call but not hear anything on their end. I went one Saturday but no one ever showed up. Usually they do not arrive to open up on time and often 30 minutes late. Just keep that in mind.
So great work but it takes more time than they planned and communication is not good.”
“Some good deals on furniture. It's hard to find affordable solid wood furniture, so this used store can be helpful. They have two locations, one in San Pedro and the other in Lomita. When you call make sure to mention which store you're going to visit, because we called Lomita and it went to San Pedro.”

“Wow! The building is literally crammed to the rafters with an awesome collection of items from the past. All beautifully presented and almost all for sale.The collection is constantly changing so it's worth visiting every year.Free entry.Parking is very limited. There is a public toilet.Not sure how you'd go navigating through the building in a wheelchair as some displays are very close together.”
