I am so impressed with the services provided by Tri-Star. Mike and Samuel were the gentlemen who did the physical moving. They were on time , extremely professional , caring , polite and everything else you would want in a mover.
They answered every single question. I cannot fathom how anyone would write a negative review. My feeling is a negative review means someone is having a bad day; as there is no logical reason.
I moved to the third floor. I don’t know how they did it, but they moved my piano up three flights of stairs, as well as a huge breakfront safely into my condo. Both of these pieces hold extreme sentimental value to me. I don’t know how they did it, but there was not a scratch anywhere .
Marie is the main administrator/scheduler and mover as well. She is amazing !!!!! She explained all the details to me very clearly. She understood how nervous I was and definitely knew how to assuage my fears .
I dealt with Ryan in the office concerning billing, and he was a pleasure to work with as well .

I had a HUGE move from two different locations. Mike and James were amazing!! They had to empty a POD, move something’s into my garage, rest on truck. Many dozens of boxes. They were both so attentive and asked which boxes were going where. That was from my new home.
Went to old home and they got got large containers off a high loft area in garage. Loaded as much as truck could hold.
Went to storage unit ( there were 2). As they unloaded all the boxes, they made sure they were in neat rows so I could have easy access without digging through what I needed. We’re talking 50-75 boxes!
Mike is a furniture puzzle pro!!! He was so calculating with how things would fit into space allowed, and he did that to a tea!!!
Mike and James worked from 9:00 am until 8:pm. Not one break!! I made them lunch and they asked if I would wrap it up so they could eat later.
These guys were hustlers, extremely careful with my property, professional, courteous and all around good guys.
This is the second time I’ve used Williams moving, both with outstanding results.
Marie and Ryan in the office are great! Marie was on top of everything and helping to make this huge undertaking as seamless as possible.
Their rates are more than reasonable. Men got to my house right on time. I can’t say enough about Williams moving. A+++

Bob Williams moving and storage is a low cost amateur moving company. They do nothing to protect your house when moving your furniture into your new home. They damaged my walls and floors while doing nothing to add protection to prevent the damage from happening. I would not recommend them to anyone planning on moving furniture into a new location. They did tell me I could use a magic eraser to erase the scuff marks. I’m sorry, but that’s just not enough. I highly recommend finding a more credible moving company than Bob Williams moving in storage.
Marie Is correct, I tipped 2 of the workers to complete additional work that wasn’t part of the original load. Marie then insulted me by telling me I must not be much of a man if I need a woman to come over and paint the wall. (Boy did she miss the point) She also kept telling me the damage wasn’t Intentional. Regardless of being unintentional, they have an obligation to fix the damage they do to someone’s home. In my text to Marie I asked her if she would be available next weekend to make the repairs. She informed me that everybody was on vacation and she would not be able to be available next weekend. I asked if she would be available to make the repairs the following week and her reply was you don’t tell me when I’m available I’ll tell you. So I did try to set an appointment, but she was unwilling to commit to a date and time.
Bottom line, If you’re going to spend the money to hire a moving company, don’t spend it with Bob Williams.

Before I start I have to say this experience really left a nasty taste in my mouth. Keep in mind my gf is pregnant and I have a broken leg. This company's management is absolute trash. The communication we had was nothing less than horrible. This was referred to me by my mom. For some reason they only kept the communication between my mom and management. They showed up to my 1 bed apartment and called my mom?? Btw she had nothing to do with this move and wasn't paying. Just to clarify. It took way longer than I thought. The movers also left without a verbal clarification. They showed up to the new house we were staying at and called my mom???!!! What the actual f#&@!! My mom called me and told me the movers were at the new house. Which we had no idea they left. I looked all over her apartment for them. Another side note* the apartment wasn't even fully moved. After 2 men moved what they could. They left they had another job they had to go to. Due to that factor they were rushing the whole time. So after they moved us we had to go back and move the rest of the the stuff we had which filled a truck and 2 cars. My mom helped. And my pregnant gf and myself with a broken leg. The lady I spoke to was beyond rude. I was extremely disappointed with the price and service we were given. I was expecting to pay 300-500 for a 1 bed apartment. They charged $744. Costumer service is dead. These people are proof of that. This experience was an absolute nightmare. DO NOT USE BOB WILLIAMS TO MOVE YOUR HOME. Use anyone but them.

I knew our move was going to be great right after I talked to Marie. Roy and Mike showed up at 1pm sharp, our scheduled time. They worked SO hard and that put me at ease. Roy and Mike are curtious, hard workers, careful, respectful. If I ever have to move again, I will definitely use Bob Williams and will request Roy and Mike again.

For the 5th time in a few years, I have experienced the stress of moving. Each time, from Marie's instant understanding from the first phone call, to her husband running the crew, the move has been seamless. The movers, Lucky, Roy and Danny, are the hardest working, AND the most cheerful people willing to do whatever you ask. This, all under the superb supervision of Vic. with Marie's management and organizational skills, has made each job easy and painless. I would never think about hiring a chain company- Bob Williams has always treated me with a personal touch to help me achieve my destination. Each friend that recommended them said the same thing. We have used Marie and her crew for years. We use them all the time and refer them all the time. They pack it all up so that we don't have to lift a finger, and we trust them with everything. Marie is awesome, and so is her crew. We will only use them for our moves.

Efficient crew and Marie was awesome. Their quote was about 1/3 of their competitor's quote, yes, less than half of the other quote. I didn't lift a finger, didn't try to backseat drive, and they got everything taken care of perfectly. No damage, no lost items, on time, delivered as promised. Will absolutely use them again and would recommend them highly.

I am so happy to rate a moving company so highly after other bad experiences! These folks have very reasonable rates and don't try to overcharge with 3rd man when unnecessary. They were early, mature, professional, very hard working, and very patient with me. Victor and Jose were so careful with my things and the walls like I've never seen. Marie is top notch scheduling and they are all so friendly and honest. You will be shocked! Will use them every move!

This is the absolute worst group of people to deal with ever. WARNING: Do not use this company! First they showed up, as others have mentioned, smoking and not acting very professional. I was quoted a price and was told that it would only take 1 trip to move my 1 bedroom and 1/2 a 1.5 miles (price ended up being over $800 - I have proof). They did a poor job stacking the truck and then that extended my time and also made them have to do 2 trips. Not to mention one of the movers with no teeth urinated in my front yard and they scratched a lot of my stuff they were supposed to move carefully. After they moved very slowly and tried to get more money out of me I disagreed with them on the price and handed them a check for the amount we agreed upon in the first place. They wouldn't accept the check so I left to clean things up at my old place. They then proceeded to go back into my shed and steal some of my valuable belongings and hold them as ransom for payment. In order to get my things back I had to go to their facility and pick it up. After all of this I was forced to pay over $800 in order to get my stuff back. They were incredibly aggressive, unprofessional, and would not negotiate the price with me at all. The other positive reviews on this site are not believable and I'm assuming are left by friends or fake accounts. Don't waste your time, money, or risk damaging your stuff!

I used Bob Williams Moving to move some heavy furniture items from San Pedro to Long Beach this morning, & I am extremely happy I did. They arrived on schedule, worked quickly & carefully, were cordial & helpful, and best of all, finished the job within the 3 hour minimum. I was promised a truck with 2 men. I got the truck, three men, & Marie, a very nice & professional lady who took my phone reservation, then drove the truck - a great value! I highly recommend Bob Williams Moving and will definitely use them again in the future when the need arises. Jackie B.

These movers were truly the best. My sister recommended them to me when I needed a moving company after we sold our house. They couldn't have been more accommodating and thorough. Their prices are very reasonable, and did a fantastic job. I recommended them to my friend as well, and she was very satisfied with their service.
