Carson Park is an 11-acre community park located at 21411 S Orrick Avenue in Carson. It is described as amazing, family-oriented, clean, safe, and well-lit. Visitors find the staff and everyone there to be kind, friendly, and cool. The park features a nice, clean, and safe playground that is fully equipped with two large playground sets, rock climbing, a seesaw, and swing sets, though some noted a limited number of swings and occasional trash. The modern recreation center and attractive art installations are highlights. Amenities include two baseball fields, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a fitness center, a dance room, two basketball courts, a splash pad, and a butterfly garden. The park offers great sunlight as well as shaded areas from trees, with three picnic shelter areas providing convenient spots, though some are not close to the bathrooms. While the park is not too big and is considered safe, some note that the grass can become muddy and uneven after rain. It is located in a residential area, so using GPS is recommended. The amenities are open all the time and it is a dog-friendly place.
Park is not really big. Also, there is not restrooms. The restroom there are only for employees to use. The staff working there are not very kind .

After the renovation, the park utilizes space much better! There’s plenty of walkway, perfect for a nice stroll. There’s street parking in addition to their parking lot

Beautiful park with friendly employees. We were there for a celebration of life. The city of Carson spent a lot of money on this park. Loved being there!!!
