I tend to shy away from frozen foods due to the amount of sodium & the lack of taste. I tried Cedarlane’s Adobo Chicken Power Bowl, though, & am somewhat impressed! The sodium level is 100-300 mg lower than a typical frozen meal & the bowl was delicious! One serving has 20g of protein, only 13g carbs, 8g of fat. It is filled with spinach, kale, & chicken breast. It’s a great quick healthier lunch for the office than eating out!

I bought their chicken Caesar salad #262266 a week ago at Foox4Less. It was so delicious that I bought it again today. It was as delicious as I rememberd it.The Solo Cup that holds the dressing is extremely hard to open. Even with care, some of the dressing spills and some of it gets on my fingers. It's messy but Finger Lickin' Good.

I purchased frankly fresh stuffed grape leaves, and I had to throw it away. The grape leaves were so tough they were inedible. Needless to say I won’t be buying them again. Very disappointing money down the garbage disposal.

I bought the chile and cheese tamales. They were sweet. I have been cooking tamales for years and the only tamales we add sugar to are the sweet tamales. The word authentic Mexican style should be erased.

I bought the Roasted Chile Relleno frozen dinner from Costco. They were terrible, runny and the peppers were hard and still had the outer peel on them. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone that knows what a good Chile Relleno is, you will be disappointed

The Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves used to be great. The last container I bought at Costco were dry and even salty altho the sodium content is very low. Almost inedible. I thought I'd try one more time. They are just as bad. I guess they must have changed the recipe. This one I'm going to return. Such a disappointment. Update: 2021... the last 2 packages had moldy grape leaves. I'm done.

I purchased Cedarlane ratatouille. This is supposed to be a stew made up of tomatoes, eggplant, and zucchini as is stated on the label. This product is basically a broth with a few very small diced vegetables. Vegetables most prominent were diced potatoes and I think I could identify one piece of eggplant and one piece of zucchini. It’s also supposed to have red peppers which are cooked down so much that you couldn’t tell what they were. The flavor of the soup is not bad but

I think the pictures speak for themselves. I found a bug on one of my tamales that I bought from Trader Joe’s. I’ve reached out to the company about this and haven’t heard anything back from them so I cannot in good faith give them a positive rating.

Cedarlane Beef Shepherd's Pie at Costco...must be some starving shepherds somewhere. Most wildly deceptive labeling ever. Label photo shows pan full-to-the-top; pan actually barely half-full. And...photo shows a good bit of ground beef. In our 37-ounce package, there could not have been a cup of ground beef. The good news: tasteless. One-star rating is a major stretch. Will get my money back, of course.

You can improve by putting CHEESE in your Chile & Cheese Tamales, there was NONE & why do you have to put sugar in the masa it was so sweet, terrible food.

I bought Cedar Lanes Turkey Meatloaf from Trader Joes, Brought it home, took one bite and something hard in it broke my crown. Yes, my crown. I took photos of the receipt from Trader Joes where I purchased it, , photos of left over plate of meatloaf, the piece of crown that broke off, and a photo of my mouth showing the hole where the piece of crown had broken off. I spoke with a represenative named Jessica, sent back the remaining meatloaf and then....NOTHING. They denied anything in the meatloaf did it. The said I had no case, they basically said screw you . I gave them more documentation than imaginable and they did nothing.I am a successful real estate agent in Malibu and count on my smile. Their product was so hard it broke a porceline crown! Shame on you for selling food items that are dangerous enough and hard enough to break a crown. I asked for the cost to replace the crown and they said no!!This is the worst customer service I have ever had. I will be reaching out to Trader Joes as well since they directed me to notify the maker of the product, Cedar Farms in Carson.Perhaps they should stop selling dangerous food. I am still waiting months later for a response from them after I said I would review them and they don't seem to care. Perhaps a lawsuit will get their attention and force them to be responsible for damages, inconvenience and cost of pain and suffering their product has caused.
