CedarLane's Vegan Lasagna is the best! Better even than mainstream non-vegan lasagna I've tried...and believe me I've tried many.

Have bought the lasgna for a year. The taste is hot or miss, with the product sometimes tasting less than fresh. Today however, I found what looks to be animal hair. Rough in texture, and short. I've never seen a rat in person before, but what I pulled out looked very fitting for what it's hair would look like. Never buying any products from this company again. After reading other reviews, I suspect it was very likely to be what I think it was. Absolutely disgusting.

Tried the “Simply Plant Powered Vegan Enchiladas” today for the first time. I hadn’t seen this brand or product before, the picture looked good, so I thought I would give it a try.Firstly, the finished product doesn’t resemble the picture, not even remotely. The finished product is simply a tray full of grey-green goop. Not to worry, the taste is more important…at least to me…so I forgot about appearances and sank my fork into the goop.Normally the “shell” of an enchilada has a bit of texture and flavor, letting you know you’re eating part of the tortilla wrap, or whatever. Not with this stuff. The character of the shell (taste and texture) was totally lost within the amorphous mass of the green goop. I had no idea what I was eating. To make matters worse, the contents of the shell (I use the term loosely) consisted of nothing more than a few small bits of something with the chewy texture of gristle. This is supposed to be tofu?To make a long story mercifully short, the entrée that looked so appetizing and appealing on the package, in reality, was nothing more than a tray full of goop with a few bits of something chewy suspended in it.Don’t waste your time or money.

Quality control seriously gone downhill! I've been buying their Red Beets & Red onions salad for months. The first few ones were perfect! Great dressing taste & perfect ratio of red onions to red beets. In fact, I buy these for the red onions, as I never liked beets before. Well, the red onions have been dwindling to the point that I received a container with zero onions at all! The next one had 3 skinny slivers! Ridiculous! Red onions are not that expensive, CLF, so quit being misers or change the salad name to remove "red onions".For the price point of organic red onions, I want every single bite to have red onions. In fact they're cheaper than org. beets, so you could have more onion than beets. It's come to the point where I won't be buying these anymore: the last 3 I bought (I get 3 a week) had 1 container with a completely DIFFERENT DRESSING! And it was nasty! I just opened the last one and this is back to normal dressing, but again: where are the red onions??I don't suppose there's How It's Made TV show episode for this, but come on! Grab a huge helping of red onions and tell the guy to add that to EVERY single beets container! Make sure there is PLENTY of red onions! As it was the case with the first few I bought! There's no shortage of org red onions, they're still cheap so what's the problem? Please CDLF, FIX your problem! Again: quadruple the amount of red onions you put now (3 skinny slivers per box, really?) and stop cheating us. If you must cheat, then less beets, but onions is what causes us to choose this product instead of a competitors!I didn't know where to complain so they'd hear this. It used to be a 5 stars product but now it's 1 or 2, depending on randomly selected container with non existent onions. DO BETTER! The product is quite expensive for the minuscule amount of food you get, and I make it last 3 meals. But I won't buy it anymore, until I read something that the company is rectifying this problem.

This company produces great products for those consumers who enjoy choosing plant based alternative foods. They have many products both refrigerated and frozen. I purchased their refrigerated Roasted Garlic Hummus and enjoyed the soy free clean ingredients and the depth of flavor. It goes great with crudités, crackers and bagel chips.

I bought their Chicken Shawarma from a higher end grocery store, Balducci's in Maryland, $5.99 for the bowl. Really not good, mush rice with strange looking hummus. The taste/spice was even worse, I attempted to choke it down... 5th or 6th bite in I got a mouth full of bones and would appear to be a chicken spine.Into the trash it went. Never buying their products again.

I bought Cedar Lanes Turkey Meatloaf from Trader Joes, Brought it home, took one bite and something hard in it broke my crown. Yes, my crown. I took photos of the receipt from Trader Joes where I purchased it, , photos of left over plate of meatloaf, the piece of crown that broke off, and a photo of my mouth showing the hole where the piece of crown had broken off. I spoke with a represenative named Jessica, sent back the remaining meatloaf and then....NOTHING. They denied anything in the meatloaf did it. The said I had no case, they basically said screw you . I gave them more documentation than imaginable and they did nothing.I am a successful real estate agent in Malibu and count on my smile. Their product was so hard it broke a porceline crown! Shame on you for selling food items that are dangerous enough and hard enough to break a crown. I asked for the cost to replace the crown and they said no!! This is the worst customer service I have ever had. I will be reaching out to Trader Joes as well since they directed me to notify the maker of the product, Cedar Farms in Carson.Perhaps they should stop selling dangerous food. I am still waiting months later for a response from them after I said I would review them and they don't seem to care. Perhaps a lawsuit will get their attention and force them to be responsible for damages, inconvenience and cost of pain and suffering their product has caused.

I just tried the adobo chicken bowl and it was absolutely unedible. The chicken was so dried out and the vegetables were mush. Had to throw it out and I was very disappointed.

The adobo chicken bowl is the worst frozen meal I have ever had. Tough with a funky horrible flavor and texture. It was litterally so bad I came to see if there was a review for a frozen food

Wow, I just tried to eat the Paleo Bowls Lemon Thyme Chicken. This was the worst chicken I have had quite a long time, I could not get through 3 bites. I thought briefly of washing off the chicken to mix into my dog's meals, but with how destroyed the chicken is from their over cooking, I highly doubt it has any nutritional value left in it. Cedarlane should be ashamed for trying to pass this garbage off as food.
