Edit: I got a call from this location with a quick and professional response to my issue and they have quickly found a solution that works for me. I will leave the original post up for context but my mind has quickly been swayed on this location. I hope DHL corporate is working on finding better solutions to their system.Absolutely disappointed. When there was a problem with delivery in San Luis Obispo county DHL defaulted to pickup without letting me know. There's no option to change the facility and the Van Nuys location is 3 and a half hours away. I expect a shipping and logistics company to have better planning than this.

The worst Delivery Service in the world! Not Amazon, USPS, UPS, FedEx or any other company has given me the hardest task to pick up a shipment I paid to be delivered to my house. It's been numerous times the lazy drivers don't feel like knocking on my door and they blame it on this little chihuahua that they can't make the delivery. They lied about making my delivery twice when on my tracking app it mentioned it ONCE. So they out my delivery on hold and I had to go out of my way to call these people after the 1800 number customer service clicked on me SEVERAL times. It wasn't until I stopped being nice that the Supervisor from this location contacted me. After I got upset and literally told them that they failed to deliver a package, which they get paid to deliver, is not in my hands and I've been waiting for almost a month! That's when they decided to say I can pick it up because, I forgot to mention, it was ordered through someone else's Prime and I couldn't pick it up. That's when I mentioned I have the same last name, address, and I paid for the item in that delivery. Then all of a sudden I can go pick up the package after memorizing the damn tracking number. Now I ordered something with another company and was just told they use DHL. Please check your lazy drivers. Thanks!

This location was supposed to deliver two packages, but only delivered one because, despite both packages belonging to the same shipment from the same company, they claimed one apparently required a signature while the other did not. The items were from the same order, and neither was supposed to require a signature. In any event, this location didn’t even attempt the initial delivery until after I called the DHL online customer service number to ask why the tracking had not updated after the expected arrival date. It was only then that the online representative initiated an investigation. This resulted in the first delivery attempt the following day. Now it has been two days after that attempt; I called the customer service number again and they sent a request for the package to be redelivered without a signature. I have called once again since another day has passed, and the customer service representative told me this location has not acknowledged the request. So it has been one week now that my package has been at this DHL facility in Van Nuys, and I’ve made several calls to try to get my package, but the location is ignoring the requests.

Worst worst worst service… called everyday . Everytime they says its ganna delivered today. Never got delivered. Supposed to be delived on 27 dec. Parcel was delived at van nuys dhl service point on 27th morning. They were supposed to deliver at panorama city which is only 2 miles from van nuys but never got delived even after many calls everyday

My package is stuck in this place I am not able to get any help. The package is already 2 days late and no one is helping in this regard. Spoke to 8 people and all of them gave different answers. They are not even allowing me to go and collect me by myself. Such a terrible service

We had the best service EVER from Cecilia at the Carson, Ca location. We were shipping documents internationally and every detail had to be perfect. However, we made a mistake answering a question which required voiding a completed order and starting all over. Then, we were shy one document which she solved for us by allowing us to email it to her office where she printed it for us! She is a (very patient) gem and DHL is lucky to have her!

Friendly and efficient service at this DHL location! I came in 30 minutes near closing and Jackie took the time to make sure everything was accurate and in order before sending out my documents overseas. Very much appreciated! Will be my go to DHL in case I need to send something out DHL again in the future :)

Joe helped me with a package I couldn’t find and needed right away as they were for my car. I was stressed all day just trying to find my package and from the moment I walked in Joe was helpful and friendly. He deserves all the praise as he is a great customer support.

My package was stolen by a DHL driver. They forged a signature and said they delivered it to my house. My package was a $300 gift to my little brother. I called support and a man named Will did not care at all. Keep up the "good work" DHL.....

I have called and have gave specific instructions on how to deliver my package and they keep telling me I have insufficient information to enter the building. I basically gave so many instructions that a 12 year old kid would be able to make my delivery. It’s actually crazy because after the 3rd call they had the audacity to say I didn’t provide enough details. I’ve had DoorDash drivers that couldn’t even speak English deliver my food with no problem before and that’s with less instructions. I would like to provide proof of the phone calls I was in but I can’t. Literally the worst service ever, not the service providers themselves. Probably has something to do with their out of date online system.

This is the first time that a delivery service attempted to deliver a package to my apartment and failed to do so, saying no one answered from my apt’s office. I went to my apartment’s office and asked if anyone tried to deliver a package to my apt number and they said no one did. What was that about? I need my package asap but it’s at Van Nuys location and I live an hour away. This is such a hassle. Worst courier I’ve encountered so far!!

I attempted to ship a package to Japan, but my friend’s house wasn’t showing up in the system. However, Janella tried her best to help us out. Putting in different search terms, looking up the address on google, etc. She was very kind and helpful in the entire process, and it was our first time shipping through DHL. Great customer service here. Thank you!

Tanisha is a great worker. She is patient and very helpful. She helped me with my package no problem with a huge smile on her face. She’s a great vibe and super friendly. 10/10 service. I’m definitely coming back to this DHL in the future.
