I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with an employee named Toni at the Ross store I recently visited. Her conduct, as far as the customer service, is a matter of concern, safety of the customers and store environment, and compliance with the company standards.
I have been coming to this Ross for the past several years, and I have always considered it a nice and safe place for my family to shop. But because of the incident I experienced, my opinion of the store has changed entirely.
On the day of the visit, the employee “Toni” singled out my young daughter and talked down to her in a rude manner. Stooping to speak to a child in such a way is absolutely out of line for any worker, and the hostile atmosphere was promptly generated.
Moreover, when I started talking to my daughter in Spanish, the manner of “Toni” changed drastically. Her words did not point it out specifically but her attitude and the way she carried herself was a clear indication that she was upset, as if the message was “this is L.A., speak in English.” She refused to look at me, fumed, and her overall vibe was cheerful and hospitable. Such conduct is indicative of biases that are not suitable for a community that is diverse and roles that require customer interaction.
What is more, I could also hear Toni talking ill of one of her coworkers in the middle of a group of customers. Not only this situation is unreasonable, but it also creates a source of discomfort in the store for employees & customers alike.
It was a pleasure to be loyal and keep shopping here, but the last incident was very disappointing as a customer. Because of her behavior, Ross has lost me as a valuable customer. One employee’s performance should not be able to jeopardize the positive experiences of years.

Princesita was being incredibly rude to my mother, And was threatening her job over shopping becouse my mom who also works at ross was using her discount on me and my sister.Which we needed to buy clothes.And was being extremely sassy about everything. She even copied my moms id discount card. This was extremely disrespectful becouse my mom doesnt even speak English and i (her daughter) had to translate so my mom could have not said anything to start an argument or any disrespect.Please do something about this situation.

Security watches me as if I'm going to steal something. I only have one item hand, pay in cash, then you loudly ask if you can check my receipt and bag. You didn't do it to anyone else before me or after me. I'll never come to this ross again

I loved Ross until Last week I went to Ross to pick out some items for my family. Took my items at the counter and fully paid for them, as I was getting out the alarm went off, security commanded me to go back to the counter , made me feel like a typical thief, the cashier went through my items she her self had packed for one by one, all the customers looking at me waiting for me to be unveiled as a big time thief like all we black people are perceived🙄. Turns out the cashier had left a tag inside the pocket of the shorts I had paid for. This made me soo embarrassed and made me feel like a low life. I will take my money to Burlington next time I go shopping . One of the customer ran to me and asked me to sue them but I have no such time for strife. Am a full time registered nurse who wants to go out shop and relax when I get time out of my busy schedule.
