I've been coming to this gas station for years. And it deserves four stars, almost giving it a five-star rating if it wasn't for the fact that the the ground needs to be cleaned. A little power wash once in a while wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately I won't be returning until they keep the grounds cleaned. I'll update my review if they turn this aspect around.That being said. Everything else in the gas station is very clean. And I love the fact that they keep the landscaping really nice. Some gas stations don't keep up their landscaping or have landscaping at all so thank you for keeping it very nice and presentable! And for a Chevron they have the best gas prices! They also have a good size mini-mart.

These guys accepted doordash order, I came to pickup and there is no night staff. I knocked in every possible way, called them also. If you have no staff, then turn off your store on Doordash.

This Particular Chevron operates transactions on what is called the DC Speedway Network. Apparently, someone within their system is stealing card info and processing transactions in gas stations, not just Chevron, in San Jose. These charges all occurred on the Speedway Network. With all this Covid frustrations I can understand that people can become desperate. Yet, stealing is still stealing. DO NOT USE THE CARD READER AT THE PUMP. Check your bank transactions regularly. Be safe, be kind.

Need to fuel up quickly in Castro Valley? This Chevron is located on the corner of Redwood Road and Castro Valley Blvd, a couple of blocks from the 580 freeway and from the CV Bart station. The location is hard to miss and usually has a lot of traffic coming in and out of the lot. Each aisle has one gas pump with the exception of pump 4 and 6; they have two to use.Things to Know:+ You can use your Safeway points when pumping gas+ Prices are fairly competitive+ A squeegee and paper towels at every station+ Parking on the right side of the lot to run into the convenience store+ Credit cards are accepted+ Restroom for customers; ask cashierThis is an ideal location to pump gas and go if you're in or near Castro Valley!

I have been a customer of this chevron for a long time(years). In fact I drive from Hayward to fill up my SUV here once a week. Usually I get the most pleasant service here. The guys and gals are very nice and consistently helpful. However, in the last three weeks I have had the most unpleasant and pointedly rude service I have ever experienced. The Asian male named Jimmy is unrepentedly rude and obnoxious. Refusing to open the restroom, making gestures that are unclear and then expecting you to understand them. When I commented on it, he was nasty and this last time I came in he refused to open the restroom even when I asked politely. Finally grunting something unintelligibly and unlocking the restroom. I don’t know who this jimmy is but he is bad for business and I will probably use some other station bearer to my home. Jimmy needs to be fired.
