I took my mother in law's car in for an oil change. She doesn't drive it very much and we weren't sure how long it had been since her last change. The gentlemen who assisted me assured me that the oil was fine and that she could go another 1000 miles before she needed to come back. They topped off the oil, checked the air pressure and sent me on my way at no charge. While they easily could have taken advantage and done the work, the folks here were honest, polite and very professional. I won't hesitate to come back for my next oil change.

I always wondered why there was no line at this Jiffy Lube, now I know. There is a highly-passive aggressive manager who said his name was "Isaac" who is losing Jiffy Lube customers every day. I was a long time customer, but I will never go back. I got an oil change (3/22/2024 at 4:30pm) that went pretty well, but then asked for new windshield wipers (for the 2nd time) which I was told were in stock. After 20 or so minutes I was told the wipers "didn't fit". Not a problem, I said. I was already at the counter talking with the manager (who later said his name was Isaac--no name tags) and he acted like he was going to ring up the bill for me. Instead, he said "I need to ring this other car up first--he was here first". Not a problem I said and I stepped back. After that was done, I stepped back up to the counter to get rang up, only to be told that there was another customer who need to be rang up first. Not a problem I said, and I stepped back again. This time however, he rang up someone who came in well after I did. I asked "Isaac" what that was about and got the response that "he had been there first" which obviously wasn't true. Isaac was clearly playing some passive-aggressive game where he would have me approach the counter only to send me to the back of the line. No idea what the motivation could have been other than some weird racial anger maybe. I finally paid my bill and headed out to my car (assuming the key was still in it where I had left it) only to find that "Isaac" had kept the key at the counter. The last sissy move to show me that he disapproved of whatever it was. Anyway, good luck to Jiffy Lube for trusting someone like "Isaac" to be run your operation in Castro Valley. I don't think it's going to go well for them.

Went in today to get my oil changed because my oil light came on and gorge really helped me out and was friendly and did a great job !

Should have left when they advised they were out of high engine oil. What oil changing company runs out of oil! They offered me synthetic at a large discount so I accepted. Received my invoice and showed fluids topped, lights checked, car vacuumed, windows washed and tire pressure checked. The only thing that was done was the overinflation of one of my tires. The sensor warning came on while driving on the freeway. Was suppose to be set at 30 but it was inflated to 50. Easily could have caused a blowout. Website also states free coffee, television and WiFi. None of these are available. Hopefully I received the oil I purchase because nothing else was accurate. Sadly I would not recommend the jiffy lube.

Please take your business somewhere else! Service was horrible and the level of professional work was not there! Especially if you are a female!!!!

I’ve been going to Jiffy Lube for oil changes with their online coupon at CV location for years, but today was rather exceptional. Not only did I receive fast service, but the entire team jumped into action when I arrived and got to work on my car immediately. Everyone was kind and professional. I even let them drain my transmission fluid, an additional service I normally would turn down, just because I appreciated how they were taking care of me as a customer. While I was in the waiting room, I watched an older man being talked to with kindness as well and he also added on an extra service, no one was pushy or tried to upsell him things he didn’t need. They didn’t just treat me as a priority, they treated everyone with this same level of care. I’ll be back and until then I’ll be sending others their way.

Good service, price attendant, service friendly atmosphere, quick service.I'm not too sure of the brand of oil they use. I never heard of it.Otherwise I would give them 6 stars ?

Highly recommend. The service was fast and the staff were professional and courteous. They didn't try to sell me services or parts that were not needed. Showed me my air filter and told me it was still good and didn't need to be replaced. They also gave me a $20 off coupon towards my oil change.Service: Oil change
