I believe one of the employees stole something out of my unit, They changed the lock and went in there and stole something. I haven’t gone through yet to see what else is missing, but definitely things were stolen.

I can’t say enough good things and thank you to the team there. Ann, Jennifer and Adriana felt like angels sent they were super helpful. We were coming from out of town and didn’t know what we needed. Ann made sure to call me to make sure we made it in town. She made sure we got the correct storage unit and she truly felt like an angel.

I have used Storage facilities at eight or nine different places in my life and the one at 2497 Grove Way in Castro Valley has got to be the worse location I’ve ever used. The day we moved in there were no carts and we were told they did not even have any carts at that time because people were stealing them and so they just decided not to purchase any more. Our unit was on the 2nd floor in the back and we had a full 24 foot trailer. Several times I saw this same situation happen with others as well. Many times we went there during open hours, but they were locked up with no notice at all. People were showing up with lots of stuff and they were just not open. Last weekend I went there and their elevators were not working and so people had to move things to the second and third floor by one small staircase, which, by the way, they don’t even allow you to use the stairway except in these type of circumstances. You are only allowed to use the elevators which there are two but often one is not working. The lady that works there is very nice, but she has no control over what goes on at the location. I just went there with a carload and the elevators were still not working and the stairway door was locked and there was no one there. I tried calling twice and I just got voicemail so I left messages but no return call of course. So very unprofessional! Save yourself some frustration and do not rent there. They even have a location three buildings down that is accessible electronically only, it is a non-manned location, but it is so much more reliable! I’m seriously thinking of moving back there.

I absolutely LOVE Peggy and Ann! Incredibly affable and helpful. From the moment I walked in, both Peggy and Ann made me feel comfortable and relieved after having a long, stressful day of moving. I am very happy I wound up at this facility yesterday.

It would be good if the carts were left at the entrance so they could be used throughout the day. The change of price is very high and every three months they raise the price and it is a lot and it is notified in 30 days, it is not enough time. I thank Michell. and Jeston, the staff is very friendly. Thank you for having staff in Spanish.

Krysta(5stars) is very helpful Peggy(1star)was completely rude to me. I know someone coming in 15 mins before closing isn’t always fun but to be rude to the customer isn’t the way to do it. I’m sorry you counted your drawer early.
Darcy is the best. She’s always there to help me when I come in and her jokes cheer me up when I’m feeling down. She’s a great asset to the company
