Love our local Trader Joe at CV. Staff are friendly. Place gets busy all times. Been going there every week finding the Bimpo and at last they have them. YES! Veggies and meats are fresh. They always have good selection of florals and herbs but hope they spread them out more in the store as that area is always busy.

Trader Joe's has a creative way to promote their products within their store. I love how they design their signage and their pricing is generally reasonable for quality goods compared to other grocery stores. Located in Castro Valley, you're sure to find it's parking lot packed on weeknights with the after-work crowd and weekends for families making their shopping runs. Be patient when waiting for a parking space because there is no street parking. This location is a bit smaller than other TJ's, but it's the closest one to service the East Bay. Lately there's been viral videos about specific TJ products such as the Kimbap (12 piece Korean maki sushi roll - $3.99) and the mini chocolate chip croissant swirls (8 pieces - $3.99), both are available at this location if you're on a mission to find them! I picked them up recently when they were restocking on a Friday evening. They limit the Kimbap to two per customer. A few things to note if you're still questioning whether to visit this location - the staff are helpful and friendly and generally operate quickly at the check-out counters. Sometimes TJ's has samples - come by and check it out :) Happy shopping!

Finding parking on weekends, and particularly on Sundays, presents quite the challenge. The majority of overflow parking tends to be occupied next to Trader Joe's, within the church's parking lot. Due to this, I make it a point to steer clear of Sunday mornings. My visits are typically weekly, and each time, I'm greeted by the friendly and diligent staff. The store's size is accommodating and, without a doubt, it remains my top choice for when shopping at Trader Joe's compared to Oakland's grand Lake or Alameda.

I liked this Trader Joes coming here in 2022. I just recently went back and it is severely and hazardously crowded in here. People are buying lots of food looks like on EBT. I consider Trader joes a specialty item grocery store. The parking lot Is overcrowded. I found the inside of the store and parking lot to be dirtier than the last time I was here; some parts nasty. There was no other soap in the bathroom that they normally provide on the side. The first bathroom was gross and unclean. And the people or patrons: no disrespect to the Hispanic but rude and unpolite; nasty attitudes and prejudice. There was just too many people here and overcrowded. I seen one staff stamping labels on the bread upset and aggressive with something so soft. cursing the food. The food is cursed in here. Someone put her purse on the sandwhich wrap, and salads shelf, disgusting and dont know where her purse has been. The alcohol is not the same products but less quality. I was so mad. Something looked haunted about the food. Food that looks like you would give to a animal or monster; chips, nuts, check out lane snacks and sweets like your muffins and brownies cookies. The look of it was disgusting and gross, even smelled like roaches. But The new staff i seen here was unfriendly and lifeless. i was uncomfortable! I never seen these Orange County looking people before. They look suspect. Somebody is lieing about the food and service here. It sucks now! Id rather have the old Trader joes any day. Go to whole foods. Raged customer. Dont come here.

My favorite thing to get here-and it’s only here- is the Lemon Cayenne Ginger drink w/probiotics. Everywhere else I go I can’t find this speciality drinks. They also have ginger, turmeric, and pineapple probiotic shots also.If I’m going to work, I grab some of their frozen meals (lamb vindaloo, potstickers, tamales, etc.) for lunch.

i Like Trader Joe's a Lot .. they deserve 4 & 5 stars .. but their Ever Crowded parking Lot and people cutting into spaces is a Drag .. sent to
[email protected] you need to change All Parking Spaces Alongside the Castro Valley CA Store To Diagonal Parking to Minimise Parking Disputes and Assign Someone to Monitor the Lot for Disputes .. It's Too Chaotic, Unpleasant, & Potentially Dangerous .. i'd Rather Shop at Lucky's Where There Is Ample Parking .. If Less Specialty Items Than at Trader Joe's .. but That Seems to Be Changing ..i also .. Trader Joe's has not replied ..

Y'all stop sleeping on TJ's. They are very affordable despite the contrary. People keep telling me they're expensive when I shop here personally and know otherwise. Plus they have unique finds. The staff are always helpful. I love they are allergy friendly for me but within a fair price range, not absorbent. I made a mad dash before closing so I would have ingredients for grilled cheese to go along with my homemade tomato basil bisque I'm making tomorrow. They have very fresh, aromatic basil. TJ's please expand. I need closer locations. Please and thank you.

The management here is very rude. No type of customer service whatsoever and very unapologetic. If you're asking these people a question, it's as if your are an inconvenience. Listen, dingleberry that's your job! These people need some training and an attitude adjustment.

For all the organic not mass produced stuff you can imagine, this is the store to visit. Fresh produce, meats, eggs, milk all the regular stuff, plus a good selection of organic cereal and coffee. If your a wine drinker appears they have wide variety for your selection.

I will always choose to commute a little farther just to shop at this Castro Valley Trader Joe's. The service is amazing! The associates are always so friendly and they are great at bagging oh my goodness. Not to mention quick at the register while making you feel welcomed and happy to see you. The location is very clean, organized and everyone that works there knows where everything is. I'm mind blown every time.

Clean store, friendly staff, and some unique finds in comparison to your standard supermarket. Went here for something that a family member had searched multiple stores for, and was able to find right away.
