“Excellent facility. The packing store has everything you need and you should definitely take advantage of it. When you are moving stuff around. You can buy boxes and then any boxes you don't end up using. They will buy back. They also have a box recycle bin so if you've got used boxes you can put them in there and other people will pick them up.
The big carts are outside. If you need a lot of boxes and other materials. My girlfriend and I go estate sales and garage sales and on occasion we will buy box of 100 sheets of packing paper and they'll take us about a year or two to go through.
Easy to get to. Not far from the freeway.”
“Renu the manager was great over the phone, extremely pleasant in person and very flexible with our need for an urgent parking storage space for a small RV/camper van. She was also able to accommodate a last minute challenge with tow truck access to our designated spot and gave us an alternative location without any to do! Facility is clean and organized with secure gate access in/out. Customer service was key and I would definitely recommend for that reason alone!”
“My company/work has been working with United Rentals for year. Most particularly, the San Lorenzo location as it's just down the street. We don't use a lot of larger equipment, but the items that we do rent on a regular, our team has no issues. If the location does not have it, they look to see what other sites in the Bay Area, which makes us feel like they go the extra mile. We will continue to rent equipment from UR.”

“I was under a LOT of stress when I arrived at this location with personal family matters. I am a full-time caregiver to my Mom. In order to save money for her medical/insurance costs, we could not afford to pay for my storage up here anymore and I had only one day to empty it. I came into Uhaul with my friend to rent a truck for 24 hours to empty the storage area. Izzy, the CSR who helped us IMMEDIATELY saw that I was not in a good mental state and went ABOVE AND BEYOND by being courteous, empathetic and friendly by engaging me in conversation. Soon after, she took the time to show me available options for my budget and was honest about all fees (mileage, insurance, etc.) so I was cool with everything before signing the paperwork. Courtesy and good customer service these days are pretty bad. But this U-Haul location with its friendly and knowledgeable staff, good rates and superlative convoy of truck options are a MUST for your traveling/moving needs. I highly recommend them! - Neil”
“Brought My Truck In (Pete 388) DEF System Was Acting Up. My Mechanic Couldn’t Figure It Out. I Was Skeptical To Bring It At First Reading Some Of The Reviews. Upon Arriving Thursday I Was Greeted By Ivan At The Service Front Counter. He Was Very Knowledgeable And Broke Down The Steps They Needed To Take To Repair My Truck. Even Though They Were 5-7 Days Backed Up From Getting To My Truck They Started Working On It Immediately. They Communicated With Me Daily On Where They Were At With The Repair. They Were Able To Diagnose It Right Away And Fix It. I Was In And Out In 4 Days. They Even Helped Me Out On The Bill Because I Told Them I’m A One Man Company And Not A Fleet. Would Definitely Recommend This Shop ??”

This Penske shop is nothing short of professional, transparent, and reliable. Aside from working with Penske for my nine-day rental, the shop manager, Dustin, was able to help me with a unique billing problem that I had created. Along with the help of Adhil and Martin (two Penske office agents), the team of three bent over backwards to solve my complex problem - cancelling my full transaction, refunding it, and recharging it to a different financial account. This was not an easy ask and there were additional caveats. Due to unique circumstances with the rental agreement, they were able to troubleshoot the transaction and develop a unique solution.
Their perseverance, professionalism, and creativity are one of the biggest reasons why I will ALWAYS choose Penske as my rental truck company over U-Haul, Ryder, or Enterprise. Penske is transparent, flexible, solution-oriented, and ready to meet your needs, whether typical or unique. Their trucks are much better than competitors, the suspension is smooth and doesn’t bounce your cargo like crazy. The windshield is clear and wipers actually work. The rails and tracks in the box are in good condition for securing cargo. And most of all the people are great! Can’t recommend them enough. We’ve rented from them 10+ times.”

Elevator holds your storage items AND you. Viewed the available unit, did the paperwork and payment, moved several boxes in and left for home in less than an hour. Office staff was nice, courteous and very efficient.”
