About Goodwill Cathedral City Store & Donation Center
The Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center is a little thrift store with many options, described as a great treasure hunt for vintage stuff. Customers note the store is incredibly clean and organized, pleasantly rearranged, with a very good hard-goods section containing some hidden vintage treasures. The employees are consistently described as super amazing, helpful, nice, cheerful, and accommodating, often going above and beyond. This includes warmly welcoming those asking about employment and, on multiple occasions, graciously making exceptions to accept donations after the official drop-off hours have closed, with staff even helping to bring in bags. However, a significant critique is aimed at the pricing in the Women's section, which needs to be more discerning. Reviewers point out a stark "pink tax," where all women's shirts are priced at $5.99 even if they are basic t-shirts, faded, or stained, while comparable or identical items in the Men's section are priced significantly lower at $2.99 or $3.99. While the customer service and organization receive high praise, this pricing discrepancy is a noted concern for shoppers.
Been there about 4 or 5 times since I arrived in palm springs. Usually because I needed something different to wear ( the trip was planed at the spur of the moment) good prices and everything i bought was in basically new condition. And the people who work there have been great.

Well organized. Friendly staff. I like that they arrange clothing by size, so you don't need to look through everything.

Nice selection here. Stff was polite and helpful. Found some useful item for household. Found two old paintings for the house. Glad we stopped here.
