Ok this place is alot nicer than it shows on the website. It is small which makes in so fun. You are steps away from the pool. The bar has tip shelf staff. The staff at the resort went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I'll be back.

Over priced midicore service. I wouldn't call this place a resort . It's more of an expensive motel. The massage was over priced for the service we received, also our therapist was sick and managed to cough and sneezing and snort throughout our massage . I feel obligated to share with public it's best to spend your money elsewhere for these prices. We did not stay, we found them on resort pass.

The hotel is new and beautiful however, they’ve failed to keep the landscape on the street side and it looks unattended and uncared for. All the ficus trees have dies and they’ve not been replaced.
There are dead cactuses in the front which doesn’t give it a nice curve appeal.
Food and drinks: Great restaurant. Sangrias are delicious. It’s just a bit pricey for tapas.

Quiet and tucked away. Easy check in and easy check out. No person under 18. Great simple pool, poolside bar. Large rooms, comfy pillows and mattress. Offered coffee and coffee makers, large size fridge in my room, not sure if that is the case for all rooms. Will stay again. Ample parking.
Rooms: Spacious, and comfy. Fun design and colors.
Safety: Felt safe and tucked away

Really liked staying here! We arrived a little early, but our room was ready and we were allowed to check in early at no extra costs. Much appreciated! We loved the pool, our little apartment and the lunch by the pool (order the chicken sandwich). The apartments are a little noisy, the walls are thin, but we didn't experience any inconvenience because of it. Oh, and they bicycles and pickleball too!

I was very happy with this hotel, staying at and independent hotel is always a gamble, but I'd much rather spend my money with mom & pop vs a big corporation. This is far from mom and pop vibes, very trendy, great design. The best thing about this place is the room, I got a premium room and it had a separate bedroom, nice sized living room, big TVs in both, a little kitchenette and a sitting area outside. If the kitchen was a little bigger, I could have lived there! The pool area was very nice, they pump good music in there. Not a whole lot within walking distance but tons a quick drive away. I will definitely stay again and recommend the premium room.

I understand it’s low season but there’s zero staff, it was a ghost town, the facility is very nice and clean, they should have at least one employee, the didn’t put a bottle of water in the room, there’s nothing to drink or eat. Like seriously nobody there.
Rooms: Room were clean and beautiful
Nearby activities: Non, you have to call Uber to go everywhere, even Uber eats if you’re hungry

My husband and I stayed here for 4th of July weekend. At reception check in, Alfredo was so accommodating and very friendly. The room was so adorable (boutique style), colorful and comfortable and close to pool and bar. The bartender and chef were delightful and made us feel welcome. The pool was very clean and nice. Although, the pool was so warm because of the extreme heat 126 degrees out, it was not refreshing but it was not the resort’s fault and out of their control. We will definitely be staying there again, but maybe at a lower temperature. Love this place!

Nicely secluded from busy Highway 111 in Cathedral City is the lush Paloma Resort and at it's heart is the Sol y Sombra restaurant. Beautifully decorated you felt like you were in a rustic Spanish hacienda. The efficient and knowledgeable greeters and server Daniel were charming. We were drawn there by the Palm desert magazine ad touting authentic Spanish paella. We ordered a bottle a Chardonnay and the three of us shared a tapa of anchovies and roasted peppers. Having visited Spain, Portugal and Puerto Rico dozens of times. we were really looking forward to the main course. One person ordered the chicken and chorizo paella and two of us shared a large skillet of the seafood version. To our dismay, the dishes arrived over-cooked, dry and virtually tasteless.I don't think they used saffron because we couldn't taste it or see any yellow color! We asked Daniel if the chef was from Spain and he replied, "Mexico!" We were expecting a lot more but were served a lot less!

A beautiful resort, nice little apartments or apartment houses with outdoor seating, nice staff, nice large pool with bar, small fitness studio
One star deducted because all the dispensers in the bathroom were empty, which shouldn't happen in a resort of this class (it was the same with the couple we were friends with).

My sister hosted a wedding next door and the Paloma Resort worked with her wedding party to help make it so memorable. The rooms were cute, guests were raving about it and the staff was incredibly kind. Everyone had an incredible time thanks to the Paloma Resort hospitality!!!
