I had a wonderful experience with Christian at Toyota of the Desert! He really listened to what I was looking for in a family SUV and took the time to keep me updated on their inventory in the duration of my vehicle purchase. I ended up finding a vehicle elsewhere (also a toyota… this market is tough!), but I am so appreciative of the service that Christian provided. He really listened to what I was looking for and kept me updated as they received new inventory. The only reason I went elsewhere was due to the fact that my vehicle was no longer running and I needed something quick!

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and was impressed by how quickly and seamless the team of Victor / Natalie in sales and Steve in finance were able to make this sale happen. I began searching while I was still in Park City Utah via their website and found the vehicle I was interested in. I spoke with Victor and Natale on the phone the day before I flew back to Palm Springs landed in Palm Springs on a Friday afternoon around 5 PM and drove the car off the lot that evening around 8 PM. Thanks for everything.

wow.. me and my significant other were really shocked with how professional our salesman morris was. we previously had a horrible experience with another salesman (i won’t name) but morris really changed our point of view! he was extremely friendly, helpful & was actually interested in helping us look for our new vehicle. he really made us feel like we were apart of the toyota family! please ask for him if you want a good experience! ?

Spent $6000+ for a low mileage engine, same car later spent then $3000+ for another so-called repair for my car to be undrivable when I drove it home, can’t reverse, drives on a high pitched sound. Mechanics are not repairing but ripping people off. Please Do not go to Toyota of the Desert ?

Spent thousands of dollars getting things fixed and then they called and say it's ready for pick up , gives me the keys and I walk out to my car and it's covered in chalk writing on all the windows , I guess it wasn't ready for pickup after $10,000 bill won't be doing this place again !

Sold me a "certified" vehicle which proceeded to fall apart before 1 year of ownership. Was looking for something pre owned but was told I should "start getting big boy payments" when I declined a new vehicle with high monthly payments. Service Center is a scam. $180 just to look at your car. If they actually fix it the $180 still goes on top of the bill even though I knew the issue and told them what it was. A latch. They will overcharge on all service and try to scam you at every corner. Go to your mechanic. Even an expensive mechanic would be 50% less than their sub par service. Long wait times, overcharging, selling lemons. I guess that's just a typical car dealership now that I think about it. But this one in particular is a nightmare. Save yourself money time headache. Find somewhere else.

Don't come here if you're a woman, you will not be taken seriously. I've been going here to get my car worked on since 2012 back when I was getting help from my dad with it, it always felt like that was the right thing to do to go back to the dealership but in this case, it couldn't be further from the truth. Now that I am the one making the phone calls and handling the situation, they see and hear no man in the picture and that drastically changes the experience; I called to make an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection, and I had one particular concern about some thing that wasn't working in my car (windshield wiper fluid tank)that I mentioned multiple times on the phone, the guy on the phone had a really weird attitude kind of condescending. His name was Sam , the only time that he ever sounded less condescending was when I made it clear that I was going to be buying the premium package for oil changes and rotations. When I got there, the man that did all of my paperwork was Pete Ayala, I mentioned my concern that I had mentioned multiple times on the phone again, and he said he's had seen it in the notes and would be sure to figure it out for me. When I came to pick my car up, they had four things that they said needed to be fixed and of course they were pricey so I said when I got home, I was going to look over the paperwork and see what financially made sense for me . While looking over the paperwork, I saw absolutely nothing mentioned about the problem at hand that I was so adamant about getting checked out. My dad goes to the same place and is treated with respect and gets his questions answered and he's never pushed to the side, but after this experience with me, he's taking his business elsewhere also. Don't go here if you're a woman alone because they will take advantage of you and not take you seriously I will never go back here again other than to finish off the stupid package that I regrettably bought in the first place.

I'd like to let people know that "Toyota of The Desert" has one of the worst service departments that I've ever experienced. I have a beautiful 2023 Toyota Tundra TRD 1776 Edition and went to have the 10k mile oil change done that was part of the sale of the vehicle (the first two services were free as part of the sale).I walked in and stood there for about 5 minutes and was never acknowledged by multiple service people staring at their phones. Finally I asked if someone could help me. They had my car for about 3.5 hours and I received a text that it was ready. When I picked it up, nothing was explained to me about their Green, Yellow or Red service recommendations and so I asked what was all of the recommended things that they suggested on the paperwork (keep in mind that the truck only has 10k miles on it) and they said that I'll need new tires at about 25k miles and probably new brakes I said, "that's impossible" and they replied, "well that's what we think is going to be required". I was just shaking my head! Then it gets better, I get home and there was a recall notification in my mailbox on the trucks tonneau cover, so I called them and asked, "when a car comes in for service, don't you check for recalls" and they said, "yes", but my service person never mentioned anything about it. Nothing! Then I asked to speak to a service manager and I asked him what they do about the recall? And I quote, "we take it off", and I asked "do you fix it or replace it"? He said, "we just take it off"! But that's not the case at all after researching it further on my own! They will either fix it or replace it, according to Toyota!I'm so disgusted with their lack of professionalism, knowledge and not checking for safety recalls when my car is clearly in "their care" for service and safety checks. In the end, I would stay as far away from Toyota of The Deserts service department at all costs. The worst experience that I've ever had at a dealership service department ever!

My initial used car purchase with Teo (Salesman) and Sandi (Sales Manager) could not have been any easier. Teo was super helpful, a straight shooter, no non-sense haggling and a professional salesman. Sandi was extremely insightful, patient and far exceeded my expectations with the whole car buying experience. Fast forward to one year later as an issue came up with my vehicle, and I come to find out that Teo had retired but Sandi was still there. I had purchased a warranty for my used vehicle and Sandi ensured I was taken care of quickly and professionally. Customer service on Sandi's end was above and beyond. He had Jesiel in the Service Department take over and fix the issues with my vehicle. Jesiel was also professional and worked diligently and seamlessly with his technician to keep me up to date as he worked with Toyota's Warranty Program and on my vehicle.Appreciate you guys taking care of me and my vehicle.

Well its Toyota, need I say more? I walked into the showroom, and I could immediately see the shiny, brand new cars. I'll take one of each please. They actually didn't have the model I was interested in seeing but I wasn't surprised. That Sienna has been flying off the shelves. Great staff, very helpful and friendly

I'm in the process of purchasing a new Prius Prime. Am new to the area and didn't know which dealership would be best. Decided to try Toyota of the Desert because the reviews were current and seemed quite positive.I lucked out by working with Jeffrey Miller who is an outstanding young man with super positive energy. He listened to what I wanted and worked very hard to make it happen. I had a trade in and this dealership gave me the best price for it.Mariposa called me personally to see what it would take to earn my business. She was forthright and professional. Amber handled the paperwork for my trade in and was pleasant and easy to work with. I was in and out in no time and with a check in hand. Jeff remains available to me with any questions I have with regard to delivery, and he is always patient and good spirited.I have bought many cars in my lifetime and I am frankly, pleasantly surprised. I have walked out of dealerships where I felt like a number and that staff could care less about my business. This one is truly different. They know you have choices and they work hard to earn your business and loyalty. They've earned mine. Thank you!

We took our 2005 Prius into Toyota of the Desert for a repair and was charged $180 for the diagnosis and $197 for the repair. We were told there were 2 issues and we decided to fix only one. Yet we had the repair completed and they double-charged us. It's like "highway robbery". After 10 years of using Toyota of the Desert for our repairs, it seems to be getting worse -- not better. The charge you for telling you what's wrong and then charge you for telling you what's wrong AND the repair. Why do we, the public, allow these behaviors???

Yesterday I posted a bad review based on my wife's experience and I apologize for that. Today the General Manager quickly resolved the matter. His amazing attention to detail and customer satisfaction far exceeded what was expected. Its people like him in this industry that keep customers happy! He did an amazing job!

We did a thorough research outside of our home in the Coachella Valley, but we decided to stay locally with Toyota of the Desert. Manager Mariposa and Ryan worked with us in a very cordial and professional manner. They lived up to what it means to have a good rapport with customers, i.e. answering questions, helping us sort out what we really needed, letting us test drive in 116 degrees without a complaint!! We recognized the value of their help and within 2 days we knew Toyota of the Desert was THE dealership to purchase from. I am so elated with my new 2023 Camry SE! Go to Mariposa and Ryan for your own best experience, you will not regret it!!
