Many rooms feature balconies overlooking the beach and pier, providing a peaceful and private setting to enjoy the sound of the waves. The hotel is pet-friendly, with amenities like towels for pets and easy access to the beach and nearby shops, restaurants, and the pier, all within walking distance. Rooms are well cared for, recently renovated, and equipped with essentials such as a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and walk-in shower. The hotel offers a quiet atmosphere with enforced 9 pm quiet hours, making it ideal for relaxation. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, providing good advice for local dining options. Although there is no on-site breakfast, complimentary coffee and tea are available at reception. One downside mentioned was an unfriendly front desk experience, but overall, guests enjoy the lovely, clean environment and the town’s charm. Shoreline Inn is highly recommended for a relaxing beachside stay.
What a fabulous little hotel in an adorable seaside town. I had an oceanfront room with a balcony, where I sat and watched the sunset two nights in a row. I could hear the waves from inside the room. So peaceful. Walkable to all the little shops and cafes in town.

My husband and I came to Cayucos to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We have stayed at Shoreline a few times but they made it so special for us. The customer service is wonderful and the ocean views are great. We want to thank Shoreline Inn for making our stay extra special.

We have been enjoying the Shoreline Inn on the Beach for years with family and friends. Laila and her team are always gracious and attentive to details. The renovations and innovations that Laila has championed are testament to her commitment to guests excellent experience. We love how fur babies can be accepted too.
