I did the Space and Ease retreat in December and it was Wonderful!! Just what I needed to recharge spiritually, physically and mentally. The vegetarian food was delicious. The meditation classes and yoga with Linda, Mark and Carmen were all peaceful and rejuvenating. I also loved that we had plenty of unstructured time for walks in nature, naps and reading or meditating in our cabin. Thank you, Ratna Ling!

I joined the retreat with my family and we all enjoyed it very much. Just a few highlighted: dedicated instructors, very spacious and functional cabin, and excellent food .

Ratna Ling Retreat Center offers an enchanting experience, perfect for those seeking a serene escape into nature. The staff and instructors here are the epitome of grace and compassion, adding to the overall atmosphere. The Renew Meditation sessions were thoughtfully organized and was the perfect setting to create positive intentions for the new year. We plan to make this a reoccurring visit.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend away at Ratna Ling. The entire program is built around your pace and the teachers are truly there to be your leaders and guides as you find your path to peace and ease. The cabins on the property as very comfortable, clean, and an architectural delight to gaze at. We spent an hour sitting outside watching the milky way above us and couldn't believe how clearly we could see it. The food was delicious and the staff was kind and helpful. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Just came back from an an amazing retreat at ratna ling. Beautiful property, very clean cottages, serene and peaceful environment, amazing fresh vegetarian food with lots of vegan and GF options, amazing staff and volunteers who do everything with a smile. I highly recommend going there either on a retreat or just personal time. Exactly what I needed to recharge.

The location is amazing. The cabins are beautiful, spacious, and lovingly constructed and equipped. The meals are delicious with very fresh ingredients. The conference/yoga space is serene and well-stocked with a variety of props. But the biggest gift is the friendly, joyful, helpful staff. The center is such a perfect union of Buddhist simplicity and luxurious comfort!! They do it better than any other similar centers that I have visited.

If you’re looking for a truly welcoming, genuinely friendly, stress free, beautiful, serene, quiet place to reconnect with yourself, and learn a little about meditation and/or mindfulness, and maybe a little about Tibetan Buddhism in the West, and support a great organization working towards helping human beings on our journey towards inner and outer peace, then this is the place for you!The accommodations are spacious, lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the vegetarian food (with vegan options) is delicious and plentiful.Check it out! Just FYI I never write these types of reviews- so it’s the real deal.

I had a wonderful experience attending a retreat at Ratna Ling. It is a peaceful space that encourages rejuvenation, from the spacious cabins with lovely views to the many walking trails and ocean breeze. The food was truly amazing and perhaps the greatest surprise. Everyone there was kind. I will be back for sure!

I loved Ratna Ling. I went for writing conference, but I'd love to go there and just spend a week writing by myself. The meals were fabulous and they accommodated my food allergies, for which I'm very grateful. And the food was delicious. The cabins are fantastic. Sitting on the deck and lifting my head to stare at the trees periodically and then going back to my writing. So great. And the cabins were comfortable and there are walking trails and it was all just fabulous.

Love! I would give it more stars if I could. My fiancé and I did our first retreat as a couple here and it really does live up to its reputation: the teachers are amazing, the meditation is taught in a comprehensive and educational way, the vegetarian food is so good, and the location is gorgeous. The vibe is immediately soothing. We went for a compassion weekend retreat that involved learning mantra chanting and sacred art making (we made mani stones). It was so unique and I left with a much more open heart. I can’t wait to return one day!

I attended a weekend retreat at Ratna ling yesterday and it was best experience I can possibly imagine. All staffs and volunteers were friendly and provided outstanding service. All vegetarian meals were delicious . This place gave me space and time to do contemplative meditation while staying in spacious cottages or in beautiful garden or redwood tree circles ( i will highly recommend) near the facility. Meditation/Chanting Sessions held by George , Linda (Co-director at Ratna Ling ) and Kum Nye by Carmen were memorable.I will highly recommend this place either you just are looking to relax and feel recharged by the nature or you are on your path to deepen your work on integrating spirituality into your day-to-day life.

Ratna Ling is a truly magical place and I highly recommend it for those in search for a weekend retreat. The facility is nestled in the redwoods with deers, wild turkeys, grey foxes roaming around. The cottages are quite spacious and luxurious. The food was amazing, the vegetables and fruits are freshly picked from the garden and I will not forget that warm home-made bread!I was lucky to have great meditation sessions by George and Linda and kum nye (Tibetan yoga) by Carmen. The instructors are genuine and passionate, the community, including the volunteers are wonderful. While the staff is dedicated, they don't push the religious aspects of the mediation and yoga practices. The place has a not well-known, but absolutely fascinating history.
