Came in for a new pair of shoes and the price was less than the box said. Love these ortholite Asics. Gel 10 amplifoam. I thought they looked different, and they are so good for my back so far ??I always find my shoes at Big 5?

I went in and needed help with some boots asap. I needed them for my trip to dodge ridge for the day. Octavio was the team member in the section and he helped me find so many different pairs! I kept trying to find something in my size and no complaints at all he kept running back to find something that would fit. The service was awesome.

Great customer service. I was looking for skates for my son. They didn't have them at their location and the manager took the time to check other stores for me. They even gave me a 10% discount for traveling to the other location.

I frequent this store 3 or 4 times per month. In the last year or so, I have experienced nothing but exceptional and friendly service by both employees and management. The "1 day deals" are a great value, priced even below sale prices. Only on one occasion did I NOT find the item I was looking for. I've also been out of town during the 1 day sale and called in to management asking if they could hold the price for me. On both occasions, they eagerly accommodated me. I've read the negative reviews in previous months and my only comment is, either these reviewers overly exaggerated their experiences or, this store has really turned things around so far as customer service is concerned. Believe me, I am a savvy shopper and do not tolerate poor customer service. I give this store 5 stars and highly recommend this Ceres, Ca. Big 5 business establishment!

Went to buy an air mattress, and they were on sale, and it was a really good price too. Bought other camping equipment too at a good price, like hiking boots and a fishing rod. Very helpful service too.

An employee there, I think his name was Clayton, really helped me when I needed to shop for work shoes in a hurry. He understood my requests, gave me space to try things out, walked through the section frequently so that he could help me and other customers, and was very forgiving of the mess my 1 year old son was making. Great hire, BIG 5.P.S. a shopping cart could have kept my kids contained, just saying.
