“I just wanted to come forward with the most honest review about this place. For dealing with the loss of my child hood pet kitty and finding a place to put him down at, going to Monte vista I had a bad experience the vet that I had seen had no sympathy no customer service and just had no emotion talking to me or didn’t care to be there knowing what I was in there for. they quoted me for the cremation and without even taking the actual cremations home it came out too 600$ and with the cremations 700$. I didn’t know what to do I didn’t want my cat to be put down there after what I had experienced. A friend ended up recommending to me to try out canal vet. So I called and scheduled an appointment and when I tell you I’ve never experienced such an amazing experience with a vet clinic. The staff was caring, so understanding, and showed so much sympathy. When I signed to get his cremations the total was only around 430$ including the little box they put him in with his name on it as well and that’s all I was told about. I realized I completely forgot to get his fur or paw print or anything like that and to my surprise I ended up getting a call saying they had his fur there for me when I forgot to ask for it!! on top of that in the mail they sent me a care card with all of the staff’s signatures on it with a heart felt message and my cats PAW PRINT when I tell you this is how every animal facility should treat there customers especially after going through this type of loss I’m beyond thankful for this place to go out of there way to do the smallest things that make their facility so special. thank you so much I wouldn’t have wanted this experience to go any other way.”
“I love this place and come here often. They have a great selection of daily pet care needs. My dog is obsessed with bully sticks. They carry sticks that are at least 3 feet long. Whenever I give one to my dog, she gets so excited that she wiggles her whole back end, and has to show off the bully sticks to everyone in the house! This is the only place I've found that carries them that long.”
“Wow, these guys are knowledgeable and helpful. They went out of their way on the 4th of July for a frog we're babysitting for a neighbor. I really hope this sepentarium stays open for a long, long time. Thank you guys genuinely. The gentleman went out of his way to educate me about the frog and to help me get him a few things to make him more comfortable. I can't remember his name, but he really deserves a raise. So thank you very much again. I urge everybody to shop here if they have any kind of reptiles or Amphibians, or any exotic kind of pets like that.”
“I like this pet store the staff there make u feel welcome N are quick to help out with questions you may have, there is plenty of parking the cashier works at a fast pace, the floor staff was knowledgeable of what they had at there store I learned a thing or two about there pets, they have handicap parking easy access.”

They have top of the line feed and reasonable prices. They also have chickens and some other birds as well as turtles and guinea pigs.”

“I gave them a 5* review based on my experiences with their products, customer service and the store/stores design and cleanliness.
My issues are with corporate support of DEI ideals. They have no place in the marketplace or workplace. I would hate for them to get the Bud Lite treatment.
My hope is that they stay focused on their products, stores and employees.”

“I went to Petco in Turlock, to get some dog food for my Dog Pepsi. I just lost my dog Tucker this weekend, and Pepsi didn't want to eat. It's been days, so I wanted to buy something he couldn't resist. I spoke with Sara, and she mentioned a couple of different foods and then guided me to them. I bought the instinct Rawboost Kibble and Raw beef, and then I picked up an ice cream. I just got home, and Pepsi is eating the kibble. He's a picky eater anyway, and losing his sidekick made everything worse. I would like to thank Sara for the advice and great customer service.”
