Unfortunately I would never use this store again the manager Chris has the worst customer service and I have used rent a center in the past now it is not the same with all the new people!

I don't oilfield not even give a star but I have to to tell my story I owed the place 75.00 and I paid for it aNthem last month paid it all of no more payments This month my new truck payment bounced and reviewing my financial papers I found out that Rent-A-Center took out 294.70 that I do not know them that made my truck payment bounced all over the place now when I called them, they will not give me my money back they won't even talk to me I'm going to go raise so he'll but I just want others to know don't trust them with you financial bank account-ruthless time to go raise so he'll

I had by far the worst customer service/sales experience of my life at this Ceres location on E. Whitmore Ave by the "store manager" by the name of CRUZ and 1 male store employee.However, based on the offensive and discriminatory treatment I received from CRUZ personally, I question the validity of those claims. He made me wait to be helped and ignored me for 25 minutes while he prioritized phone conversations. I was literally the only in store customer the my entire visit. Keep in mind the other male employee was doing absolutely nothing aside from, he was joking and having an unprofessional personal conversation with CRUZ and they were even talking about a customer as he came to make his payment and while he was leaving and pushed out a small desk. He took my drivers license at the beginning, 25 minutes before they even helped me and had to wait to get it back. Rent a center used to offer a 6 month same as cash option which has now been changed to 3-4 months, I guess at their discretion? Of course CRUZ told me 3 and once I saw their price was over 3 times what the used tv was worth, i told him I would definitely be paying it off in 3 months. As soon as I said that, he did everything in his power to stall me and prevent me from getting a literally 2 month lease. He treated me like I was a criminal, skeptical about every bank statement and financial aid award letter. He accused me of lying about getting disbursements every month and had to remind him 4 times that there are 2 months between June and August. He was staring at each document I emailed him for no LIE 5-10 minutes like the numbers were gonna change. He waited until AFTER I had been waiting for a total of about an hour , including him pressuring me on the sales floor to buy any tv in stock before he even prequalified me!!. He tried pressuring me into buying a tv in Stockton I'd never seen before and knew nothing about and pay for it 2 months in advance!! I'd had enough after about an hour and 15 minutes or so. CRUZ has made me feel discriminated against and had absolutely no customer service skills, was rude offensive and the worse store manger I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. If you wanna be treated like you're stupid and feel like spending $2000 for a used LG tv, when they're available at Walmart for about $300, then dis is da place for you Matthew Godwin

When the person picked up my refrigerator he dragged the refrigerator on the ground and scratched the tile floor by the front door. Then he was moving it by himself and he hit the front door and made a dent in it.

I like the fact the rent a center team understands and works with you. They are a very professional team through out the Modesto an ceres California area obviously can't take advantage of not paying your bills but if you communicate and let them know your situation, and that you would have it the next day they work with you and that's why I will continue to do business with them because everyone does go through that type of situation once or twice when paying a balance off thank you RAC for this opportunity

My experience with you guys was very very bad you do not have people skills you guys do not know what you're doing and the customer is supposed to always be right and you didn't even try to fix the problem that we were having you decided to just tell me you respond my money So I give you no stars for the worst service ever

Bought our couch from here, Chris was super nice and efficient and i didn't feel pressured at all to buy anything. yet i found something super affordable and nice for my living room 10/10 will be back for future furniture needs

If YOU’RE NOT MEXICAN don’t go here. You’ll feel very unimportant and get laughed at. Speak their language in there little office and peek out to see who’s coming in to get something. I understood everything they said. Get rid of little Cruz and all his Mexi people in there. Will never ever go to this place.
