I saw a lot of poor reviews, but they were from years ago. I had a lovely experience. I made an appointment on line with Brittney. There was no wait on the teller line either. We sat down at her desk and she set everything up. I got 5.65% interest for an 11 month CD!! There was one annoying glitch. She wanted to see my social security card. I don't carry that around. So I had to go home and bring it all the way back to the bank. When I made the appointment online, it wasn't mentioned. Everything else went smoothly. Thank you Brittney for excellent customer service.

Didn't sign up for an account at this branch and now I'm getting unsolicited calls. Awesome, thanks. Maybe take that same energy and apply it towards the people actually contacting the branch? Wild idea, I know.

Wow! I've been a Citi Mastercard customer for years, and recently got a mortgage with them - both have been great experiences - but the banking? Stunning terrible. The technical issues have been staggering, and customer support has been both wildly incompetent while being simultaneously verging on hostile. I don't know what is going on with their systems, but it took me over 4.5 hours on the phone with them last week just to Zelle my nephew $300, and today they are declining PIN based ATM transactions at local stores when I have thousands in my checking account. No text messages explaining why, no emails, and three customer support reps with no idea why they are declining me and just forwarding me onto the next rep to try to solve it. Unbelievably difficult to access the money in my checking account. Wells Fargo makes it all look so easy.

They don't do much to keep your business as new customers. Signed up for checking due to a nice promotional offer. Never received a temporary card upon opening therefore my promotional offer expired. Big hassle having to close my bank account. They didn't allow me to speak to a branch manager. Wasted 3 days of my time.

Poor customer service. Close to 7 people in line. Only one teller at the window helping members. 4 other member service reps sitting at their desks chatting about chia lattes, Xmas shopping at Forever 21, unbothered by the fact that people are waiting in line, greeting people with a fake good morning.

So I went to pay my credit card here, the lady teller who helped me seems upset, she raised her voice and said "we're no longer accepting cash for credit card payment".. she looks very anguish, maybe she forgot her medication, or she didn't had her breakfast yet, or maybe she don't have an org*sm for quite sometime now. Oh well, CitiBank please send your staff to customer service training, it's not that hard.

Worse customer service by the asst manager Maria, who was very loud and extremely unprofessional, this was right after I requested to see a manager and being treated by a rude teller with such condescending attitude, I was in such shock of their customer service that I actually forgot to get the tellers name, what a horrible place to be and be so mistreated, disrespected and belittled I have never felt so ashamed.... Where did curtesy, costumer service and professionalism go? I will never step into this place ever again

There is such little care for customer service at this branch. Given that there are so many other alternatives to Citibank and yet they continue to provide sub-par and thoughtless service means they don't care if a customer chooses to go else, that it won't be detrimental to their business. They're wrong. Since May I have tried to set-up an appointment with one of their bank officers to change something in our account. The first appointment was set but that morning, I called to confirm and got a recording saying the bank was closed. No one from the office bothered to call and tell me that. I had take the morning off from work to go to this appointment. I then went to the bank in person to try to set a new appointment. A woman told me "the banker" was not there but she took my name and phone number, reassuring me that someone would contact me(especially given what happened with my first appointment). Of course, no one has contacted me. It's been three weeks. I told a friend about these Citibank experiences and lo and behold she had a bad exerience as well. She and her husband wanted to open an account. They were told to wait, someone would be with them. They waited two hours! Someone then approached and told them that they could not be seen because the bank was closing and that they would have to come back. Why weren't they told earlier that they couldn't be seen? Why couldn't the "bankers" stay on to provide service given my friend and her husband had waited TWO hours! Such disrespect and unprofessionalism!! This branch is run by by people who do not care about customers, people without whom they wouldn't have a business. Do better, branch manager and staff!

This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I've had to wait in line for an HOUR just to cash a check, this is excessive and completely unacceptable. Seeing just 1 teller or if your very lucky 2 tellers working is a joke, Citibank Corporate stop being cheapskates and pay the labor cost for a 3rd teller. I appreciate the banks covid-19 safety precautions and I do practice social distancing with face covering, but I feel the bank is taking these guidelines to the absolute extreme which is also contributing to the ridiculous wait time. Zahra N. you had a lapse of judgment by embarrassing me (a 30 YEAR CUSTOMER at that location, was there when it was Cal Fed) in front of other customers !! Because of YOU I will be closing my account, shredding my Citibank credit card and I will be taking my business to Union Bank directly across the street where they don't have you wait outside in the hot sun or have the extreme covid rules, as well as no 1 hour wait time. P.S. I filed a formal complaint against this branch with Citibank Corporate. I highly encourage others that have negative experiences with this branch to do the same at this number 1-888-248-4226

This is one of those branches that makes people wait a long time. I have had subpar service on more than one occasion. Currently, due to the coronavirus, their atm is completely defunct. Meaning not functioning because the Mall is closed. You have to go in and make a deposit face to face if you want to do a deposit. This is not good for me. It means that I can not practice social distancing and that my deposit will not post as fast as if I use the Atm. The only other citibank atms are in CVS's per the guy at the branch telling me when I called. But only for withdrawal. THATS NOT WHAT I NEED. So, I either have to wait until tomorrow and take my lunch hour to deposit, or, drive to Downey further exposing me to traffic and people I don't want to. Doesn't Citibank want my cash or what? #citibank #socialdistancingdifficulty #defunctatm #defunctpolicies from a 20+ year customer. #citibanksucksnow #cerritoscitibank #cerritosmall CERRITOS MALL MANAGERS ARE INCOMPETENT! #incompetantcerritosmall #incompetantmallmanagementcerritos

The worst, WORST service ever! Do not come to this branch. Horrible. So, I was in on a Saturday, asked to see the banker to add my husband's name on my account. The branch manager "Bill" checked the list and said that wait will be around 30-40 minutes. I was okay with that since I really needed this done. There were two bankers working on the floor and they seemed to be just everywhere, going back and forth, taking customers that came in later than I did just randomly and it was just horrible. Will make a formal complaint to Citibank regarding this. When my turn FINALLY came, as soon as Zahra sat us down and opened up my acct, she said I wasn't able to add my husband's name because I had another person on my acct and that person did not come with me. WAIT WAIT. YOU MADE ME WAIT 45 MIN TO TELL ME THAT YOU CAN'T HELP ME? Why did they not ask before they made me wait for 45 min! If they simply asked if there were any other members on the acct before making me wait, and that person was not with me, I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT! Horrible horrible. Inefficient people working, making customers suffer. Horrible!
