Staff was all nice and approachable. The location is good but the only thing i can complain is that they don't have enough trolley on site. Especially on weekends and late afternoon where people are out from work and moving their stuff in the storage . I have to wait 2 hours or carry my things by hand one on one to get someone's trolley after they move.

On 11/15/23, I discovered my storage unit was broken into, along with another individual. Staff would not have known if not brought to their attention by ME. Told to call police. Given an incident number and file a claim. The storage facility looks secure but it’s not. I normally don’t write reviews but this place is not as secure as I thought. Additionally, I had to request a different storage unit, which I was not offered one. Lastly, they didn’t even offer to hire someone to help move items. Don’t expect the extra mile, rather to be in inconvenience. Protect your items with insurance at this location and ask questions.Update: 11/18/23. Not sure why you need to speak with me as a brought this attention to your staff on 11/15. Additional, since the break-in. I have been going there at night and notice transients staying past the allowed time. Informed Richard, with a rebuttal of, can you identify them for me. I didn’t understand why he said that if you have security cameras. Furthermore, still have not gotten a call from Esmeralda since she identified a specific access time and it’s been over 3 days….Update: 11/21/23. Stay away from unit 496, 2nd fl. Certain units don’t have camera angles. They do walk through but left over furniture has been there for 6days. Red flag: Esmeralda didn’t want to identified a specific time someone used my access code, nor to help identify specific items, it’s policy, I guess. District mgr. never called, was told from 12-2 on 11/20. I moved out early cause my items was stolen and they don’t prorate, WOW!!Lastly, storage unit insurance will not cover items unless you have receipts and photos of items. Ask questions and just don’t pay for storage unit insurance thinking the unit is covered when it’s probably not.

This storage space sucks @$% now. The new ownership is trash?. Elevators are always out of service, It's hot and stuffy, the facility is not being wiped down properly and swept, the carts done disappeared, they have went up on my rate by $30 ? but then have the nerve to promote Black Friday half off deals. ?? Will be looking for a new storage place.

Extra Space Storage has been a blessing to me. They go above and beyond to help in your storage needs. I had two spaces of storage for twenty plus years. Esmerelda from ESS Cerritos helped me to combine the two into one saving me money. I can't say how much I appreciate her help and service. Extra Space Storage, Cerritos was heaven sent. Thank You Jesus!

I have been an extra Space Storage customer for 2 years. Their customer service is excellent! In addition, carts are available for large items. The storage facility has extended hours from 6 am to 10 pm for customers. You’ll love it!

Awesome experience! The staff, especially Kat, Esmeralda, Richard and Angel and crew are all very helpful and super nice! They'll recommend options that are best for you to give you some extra space. The place is clean and convenient with much green goodness. The TV with the waterfall behind the desk makes me calm when I have to borrow a cart. This might sound corny but the green facade makes me feel like being out in nature. Thank you!

They are very professional, kind & pleasant. I was very impressed. I’m so glad I was able to store my things there at a reasonable price. If I ever needed a unit I would definitely return to this location.Great customer service, friendly and very helpful.

You guys made it so easy to rent a storage unit. Everything was done over the phone. My storage unit was ready when I arrived including a lock. I never had to go into the office to secure my storage unit. The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous, friendly, and helpful.

So far so good. Ive rented alot of storage units in my 55 years but this place is the Rolls Royce of storage!!! Cleanest without a doubt!!!! Not a hundred and twenty degree heat!!!!! Wow!!!! The lobby looked like it was very secure!!!! I would o gave 5 stars but the only reason is there were no moving carts 2 move my storage 2 my unit every1 was using them I guess other than that every thing seems good thank u!!!!!!

Storage Facility immediately went downhill when Extra Space took over. Everything that reviewer Misty mentioned, in addition they are raising our rates + $23. Temp controlled climate used to be a cool 69°. Now it’s warm and 76-78°. No longer clean, carts are not available, trash everywhere, elevators often don’t work. What is going on?

This place has completely gone south the moment StorQuest left, and Extra Space took over.The security was gone. The video surveillance monitoring ALL angles and straightways are gone. The security gate is always open. There is no need to code in anymore so ANYONE can just come on to premises. The aisles aren't swept and maintained as well as they used to be. Unsure if the building kept the same ventilation system in place. Reason being, (and this is just my honest opinion) I feel that it's not maintained at the same temp as it used to be and I've noticed there is a bit of dust starting to accumulate which was never a problem before. There was also an organized system to check out dollies by leaving your ID with the front desk in exchange for a key that unlocked the secured dollies. Once put back properly, you would trade the key back for your ID. Something that may have taken longer, but still a perk to have available. Now, all dollies are off chains and unaccounted for. If you do find some, they're thrashed with people's trash left behind. Not to mention, as im standing here now. 3 of the 4 elevators have a sign saying they're not in service. Which leaves ONE ELEVATOR. Is that one elevator working you ask? No, its not. Can I go to the office to see how i can get up to my storage? No, it's 9:20am yet no one is here yet. So sad. Makes you wonder what you're actually paying for.It's not what it used to be. It's clear StorQuest was AFew steps above this company. The LEAST they could've done was maintain what was left to them.But two different companies. From experience, I can give an honest review to compare the two. I'd definitely find a different place.I feel horrible giving such a bad review. But I feel that I can save so much trouble for the next person if im being honest.

I was with StorQuest for a couple of years No issue extra space storage took over hasn’t been the same then my storage unit got broken into. This was not some random person from the street that broke into my unit. The person that did this has access to the cameras and works there. There’s a camera 20 feet from the unit. My unit was the only one broken into in a certain item was stolen like they knew what they wanted to steal . And they left a mop inside my unit that doesn’t belong to me so they pretending like he was cleaning and broken to my unit like they say in the movies this was an inside job. If you have a unit here be careful you’re being watched.

Rented a unit for temporary storage last year, and needed to vacate the unit as it's no longer need. Office was closed on Sunday when I vacated the unit, but I called on Monday and spoke to Richard. Super nice and helpful. I was told they would walk up to the unit to verify it was empty, and close out my account. Within a couple of hours I received my confirmation that my unit had been closed out on their system. Awesome customer service, thank you Richard!
