This place overcharged me, I purchased a 6-pack of NA beer and when they guy at the register rang it up, the register said "Bacardi superior" which was almost double what it should have cost. I was in too much of a hurry to take the time to do anything about it. He was also very unfriendly to me and another couple in front of me in line who was Latino, but not the white or Asian folks in the store.

I read a couple reviews about the workers being disrespectful but I didn't think they could possibly be as rude as they were. Being from the south you can't walk inside any establishment without speaking or greeting the workers and even customers upon walking inside. I arrived and barely stepped foot in the door and wish the woman a good afternoon and asked how her day had been going so far. She just sat there and stared at me with a disgusted face. Before escalating anything I simply asked if she spoke English since I still haven't heard a single word just the stare then I finally got a "no I don't speak it". Took my time to explain what I was looking for and the English flew out her mouth like diarrhea. A simple cigar she yelled NO and proceeded to ramble. Looking on my own as I continue to search for an alternative I find exactly what I was asking for while she got upset that I was continuing to enter the store. I asked if her day had not been the best or if this was just how she treated people. Only got a smirk from that question then condescendingly she asked if I was able to afford an additional $0.75 cent charge. Don't waste your time here only convenient if you don't feel like going far or weirdly enjoy being disrespected.

Makeover! As a little kid, I remember patronizing The Liquor Store in Cerritos, whether it be for Bazooka Joe bubble gum, or a large slab of beef jerky. Throughout the years, I'd stop by, from time to time, to purchase lotto tickets and what not. And, throughout the years, The Liquor Store has never had a renovation. The place looked exactly the same as it did, since it probably opened. Now, with an update to the shopping center, and w/ a new proprietor, The Liquor Store now has a modern, more aesthetically pleasing interior. Walking in, I immediately noticed the new, sleek flooring. The lotto machine used to have a makeshift wood frame around it, which was removed. Now, The Liquor Store has a contemporary feel, in line with 7-Eleven and over convenience shops. Service was good. The gentleman working the counter was hospitable to me. There is a shared private lot. The Liquor Store is located at the Sleep Number plaza, right of Belle Vie. The third & current owners spent a lot of money to revitalize The Liquor Store, and I appreciate their effort. No longer looking drab & rundown, the place exhibits a more pleasant customer experience. The Liquor Store is a great stop for picking up lotto or a quick refreshment.

If I could give less than a star I would. This store is owned by a very racist Asian man who is disrespectful every time I come in. There were three other customers in the store today who asked a question. All of them were handled respectfully. I asked a simple question about the price of an item (the sticker was old and worn so I wanted to be sure that was still the current price) and he literally yells from behind the counter, "WELL WHAT DOES IT SAY? READ IT. WHATEVER IT SAYS IS WHAT IT IS. 35 CENTS." Except the sticker said 25 cents. I calmly explained that the sticker said 35 cents to which he turned red and said with an attitude "Well then I guess it's 25." I put everything I planned to buy back and I will drive 2 miles down the road to where they actually greet you when you walk in. I do not appreciate being literally yelled at and his feeble attempt to embarrass me only fell back on him. This is not the first time he has spoken to me in a way I felt was rude but since it's the only convenience store in the immediate area I break my vow to never go back every now and again. This time was the last time. I have lived in Cerritos 20+ years and I never get treated as lowly at any other establishment in the city as I do here. And you'd think he'd appreciate someone coming into his stupid a** store during COVID! I literally hate this place.

A cute old Chinese couple used to run The Liquor Store for ages, but a change of ownership occurred awhile ago. I come here from time to time for Lotto, especially on occasions like now where the Powerball is over $300 million. As a kid, I used to come here & spend my lunch money for some Bazooka Joe's, sour gummy worms, Big League chew and the like. I can't forget about the huge slices of beef jerky, too. Parking is in a private lot, with Carl's Jr and others as neighbors

Noooooo please don't tell me I didn't get a chance to say farewell to the couple who owned this store..I patronized this store almost daily since I lived within walking distance! Since my move my visits were less frequent. Regretfully I stopped by yesterday and I found a new owner, what a shocker and he told me he just bought the place...the prior owners were always so sweet and kind and I know they owned the place for a long time..it won't be the same without them. If your er easing this, we will miss you!,,happy retirement!

This place is ok.... everything here is freakin expensive n old(with the exception of stuff like beer n drinks).... I usually walk here from work when I'm too lazy to get into my car and drive down the street to the 76 station... They have a pretty decent selection of liquor n beer n stuff, but its a liquor store.. they better have a decent selection rite? Haha. I woulda given this place 2 stars, but considering it takes me 30 seconds to walk here from my work, ill give it an extra star, just for convenience factor.
