Tyler S. and my Mechanic walked my through the whole Service appointment and answered all my questions and let me know any issues. The Dealership is super clean. Scheduling Department is great and very efficient.

We went here just to "look" at a GTI-R and drove off with it a bit later. This is our 2nd car from McKenna, and we love that the sales team isn't pushy. Today we worked with Boston, and he was so fun and helpful. Another great experience, and highly recommend purchasing from here.

I had a great experience at McKenna VW in Cerritos. Everyone was very friendly.Besides dealing with the tedious process that is purchasing a new vehicle, such as endless signatures, the overwhelming amount of numbers, “paperwork” digital in this case; I didn’t mind it.I also love how my contract documents, and other signed documents are on a USB card. Very eco conscious, and efficient.Alex A., the salesman who helped me with my purchase, offered to take photos of me with my new car with the giant decorative gift bow on it. I was very appreciative of that.I would’ve completely forgotten to take photos until Alex A. mentioned photos!Thanks again. ??

Beware of the service department. I had my 2017 Golf serviced here about a month ago. Previously, I was able to trust this service center, but now I will never bring my car here again.I had an 8:00 appointment, but they didn't start working on my car until 2:30pm. Spencer said the appointment time was not the service time, just the checkin time. This was never the case in the past.Later that afternoon, I received a text with an invoice stating the needed repairs. Not even a phone call. I had to call Spencer to inquire about the repair needed. One wire needed to be replaced for $1000. He said the wire was disconnected and pulled out somehow on its own. He couldn't explain it, nor could the technician. Said it wiggled its way loose. Sounds like a defect in the car to me.I, then, specifically asked about the labor charge and if it was a flat rate, because it wasn't broken down on the invoice. Spencer said labor was $299 an hour, and it was a 3 hour job. He also said the labor price would be broken down on my bill when I picked up the car. I approved the fix and picked up my car. I asked for pictures, or a video of the wire needing replaced, but received nothing. Previously, I received a video explanation from the service tech.When I got home, I reviewed the bill. The labor was not broken down, but instead it was a flat rate once again. On the top of the bill there was a box that said "rate $239.95". So I called Spencer and asked him what that meant. He said it was their labor rate. I reminded him that when we spoke over the phone, he told me labor was 3 hours at $299. He the placed me on hold, did some recalculations and said the labor rate is $239.95, but he undercharged the hours. Said it was really 4.5 hours. He said the price was still correct. I told him it should have reflected that on the bill. Especially when he told me it only took 3 hours.I reminded him that I specifically asked for a breakdown on my bill, but it was not there. He insisted that the price was correct. I told him according to my bill, I was being charged $180 over for 3 hours of labor. I requested a refund. He told me I would have to speak to the service manage. I said I would be happy to speak with him and I was put on hold. Spencer, not the service manager, came back on the phone, and said they will just refund my request because it wasn't worth the fight, but their price and calculations were still correct. He seemed annoyed that I questioned the bill. I'm glad I received a refund, but bummed he didn't seem to understand my side. Especially since I inquired about labor prices from the start.VW always sends a follow up email or phone call requesting a review, but of course, I didn't receive one this time. I wonder why? Because they know they overcharged me in every way possible. They can't even prove the work they did by providing me a picture, video, or the old wire. They probably just plugged in the loose wire and billed me. I am sad and disappointed to be scammed by this business. Seems like they are just making up numbers for labor prices. Sorry to post a public review, but I did not receive a review from VW this time.

My husband and I had the best car buying experience EVER with Michael Mullen at Cerritos VW!!! I was exhausting my research and dealerships for months looking for specific cars, inventory & pricing, talking with many different dealerships and people. Michael from the beginning was no pressure, nice, knowledgeable, and so easy to communicate and work with, it made our purchase a "no brainer" and really enjoyable. When you can genuinely feel and see that the relationship and experience is what the focus is, not just "selling a car", it makes such a difference...we need more Michael's out there!! Thank you Michael & Cerritos VW for such great experience from every department, we will not look anywhere else in the future when purchasing another car!!!- Carlyn

I can't explain enough how many times I've had issues with their parts department. The last issue to drive me to never ever order from Mckenna was a part that I ordered i didn't end up needing and tried to return the next weekday (Monday). It was still in a sealed clear bag unopened. They refused to return it. Which is cool because I just got it for free after doing a credit card charge back. Not much has changed in 80 years. Still Na zi run.

I came in on a Sunday urgently needing a new car and not very confident as to what or how the process was going to go. My wife and I were looking at cars in the lot and were greeted my Francisco Ortiz. He was very kind and walked us around to take a look at different models. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. With his help we decided to move forward to purchase a VW ID4. Sarwar Hossain helped us out with the financial portion of the purchase. Grant you my credit was not the greatest, Sarwar was able to help us out and get us approved. My nerves were high and anxiety kicking in gear but Francisco and Sarwar were most helpful during the whole process. Definitely recommend VW Mckenna for your next car purchase.

Incredibly inconsistent pricing. Parts in store almost 40% higher then their price listed price. After realizing the price was that much lower I called and was told I could return the parts and reorder them online for in store pickup and that I would be refunded by check.Once I was in store I was told that the check could take 2-6 weeks to mail out and that there would be a 20% restocking fee. Keep in mind I went home with the same pads I walked in with. Lesson learned I guess. Make sure you double check your online pricing. Even if it is the same store

My rep was cool, but overall the service from the company was really bad. My car was there from the beginning of January until the middle of November.There was no answer as to how the car broke and yet over $4000 to fix something they couldn’t explain in the first place and it only had 66,000 miles on it.I had to keep calling and following up to get I formation. It took several months to just get two parts. And after it was finally fixed, the car was a mess, the fabs didn’t work properly and the gas tank was empty.The rep did the best he could, and helped me to eventually get a loaner car for the last two months and he got me a battery.
