Haven't been here in a really long time, thought we would try it again and was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and the food was good. Menu changed a bit and miss some stuff that existed on the menu pre-COVID, but will visit again soon.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and vegan options

Upon arrival at the confirmed time, my reservation was not acknowledged for a booth I requested. I think booths were filled with those who didn't have a confirmed reservation. Very upsetting. I was told there are booths in the bar, and reluctantly was sat in the bar. Food was good and James our waiter was excellent, despite the fact that the restaurant is short handed; and it's the dinner time.

Food and service was excellent. My family ordered the Valentine special. Our entree included appetizers and dessert. Full size portions and steaks, angel hair pasta, potatoes and vegetables were all excellent. We opted for the chocolate cake. Everything was excellent!

We all came fasting~ I got an appetizer which arrived 3 minutes before our plates! My food was COLD! Both my girls hated their dish! Husband was ok just because he’ll eat anything. I asked for pesto 3xs w/ bread and I got it almost end of meal. Gross & watery! Don’t come here! Place only had 2 tables of people!

Pretty spacious inside with the kitchen to the right and the left side walls filled with bottles on display. They're empty bottles or bottles filled with water but still a cute design. We just came from a gender reveal party but I was still hungry so I found this spot to try. I ordered Mama's Trio which includes chicken parmigiana, lasagna bolognese, and fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken parmigiana was a bit dried, the lasagna was okay, and the fettuccine Alfredo needed more sauce. It was dry and sauce tasted watered down like there wasn't enough flavor mixed in there. Not sure if they give free bread like other italian restaurants but we didn't get any.

While the food was OK, it was not as good as before. The sauce was bland. My biggest issue was that the restaurant was not busy, but they only had one server. He seemed to be overwhelmed, but no one was helping him. The hostess was not attentive. She was busy chit chatting and was not paying attention to her customers. The ambiance is still the same. Dark and they played modern music. It was interesting to dine while listening to music about getting naked.

What the hell happened to the pizzas with bruschetta? They used to be gas but they are no where to be found on the menu. Why would you remove it. Smh

We were delighted to have that old Romanos menu with our favorite items, and excellent service. We used to go to the Romanos in Yorba Linda nearly every week for years. But they went downhill over a 2 year period and we gave it up. Example; they changed the way they cooked dishes, service degraded, and they would do small minded noting things like refusing to have the small balsamic vinegar (for the oil for the bread) on the table. You had to ask for it, and they would insist on dripping it into the oil themselves, then store it on a shelf within eyesight, but not accessible. Lots of things like this. They closed since then; not unhappy to see them go.
