Makes sense why this store only has 3 stars. I really hope the district manager sees this review because "the manager" Jerry was super rude and made me feel very uncomfortable when doing a return when I had a gift receipt he did not want to give me store credit so I can come back with my son so he can actually try on shoes. So I called the Whittier store and without hesitation, the manager at that store said they absolutely could give me a store credit and would be happy to help me. So I'm not sure why Jerry was so rude about it and did not want to help me. I definitely will never be shopping at the store again.

Worst customer service ever! Hate that I even place an online order to be picked up in store. Called the store to ask if my online order was ready. A cashier by the name of Daniel answers the phone, apparently when he's not supposed to according to the manager Jerry. I give Daniel my first and last name and order number only for him to leave me on hold for like 10 minutes, and after all that waiting a female hangs up the phone call. Not sure if she took me off hold to even see if someone was on the phone. She just hung up the call. I then call back and she answers the phone saying she said hello a couple times and no one said anything... I'm like if that weee the case why am I having to call back. I then ask for Daniel because he has all of my order information and she tells me he's working the cashier and put Jerry the manager on the phone. He then says Daniel is a cashier and went out of his way to answer the phone when he didn't have to... I'm like so him answering the phone when he should be working the cashier, cause clearly no one else such as Jerry the manager and or neither was the female who hung up the call was available to answer the call... So Daniel answered the call and WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO (according to Jerry the manager) take all of my order information and tell me to please hold for over 10 minutes... only to leave me on hold for the female to hang up the call... wish I knew her name as well... But I called around 6:20pm. Worst customer service ever! Wish I had just gotten my order shipped. While all along sitting in the parking lot of the mall in hopes of picking up the order. Please hire professional workers. According to all of the other reviews, shouldn't have been to surprised at the terrible customer service. Seems very consistent! I guess consistency is Key. Round of applause for the terrible customer service. Being a manager, it's much more than just answering the phone and saying, hi thanks for calling the vans store in Cerritos mall! Next time apologize for the workers incompetence to actual check to see if the online order was ready. Instead of leaving me on hold and saying he's the cashier and he didn't have to answer the phone but he went out of his way. And also saying you guys don't check online orders after 12pm... then that's what Daniel should have said initially when he answer the phone and not asking for my first and last name and order number then leaving me on phone for over ten minutes never to return.... Also, you lack at knowing the meaning of going out of your way "manager" Jerry! Then I told Jerry the "manager" I was gonna reach out to corporate and he could care less, he said oh that's fine you go right ahead! Carry on with the terrible customer service that all of you offer! Tried reaching out to corporate, but their closed right now... I will try again tomorrow at a better time!

One word. Francisco. My boyfriend and I came in for some classic shoes, not realizing the many options they have. The different soles they offer, everything. Francisco was so sweet and patient with me while I asked for different shoes. He educated me on the different sole types and made the process so fun. GO TO HIM.

FIRE! The person who decided to have stockroom staff pull shoes upon shoppers requests; and not the actual salesperson working the floor? It's a disservice to all of us Christmas shoppers; who found ourselves at VANS standing around waiting for shoes they didn't have in stock. RIDICULOUS

When I tell you this is the best customer service I’ve gotten I mean it! And I’ve been to a lot of stores! Lol. Jose was so awesome! I’ve never gotten vans before and he was hecka patient and took his time to answer my questions along with 4 other customers. He was quick and brought me out every pair of shoe I asked for. I asked for 6 types. Then he still offered me another pair that he promised was the best. Sure enough it was. Bought them. Thanks to the manager on the shift of Friday closing 10.7.22. So nice as well. Thank you will be coming back for my wife’s pair!

I placed an order online for pick up early am and I arrived to pick them up late evening and they had me waiting 20mins to get my order when the store was empty. There were about 4 to 5 workers. They seem slow amd lazy and I never give bad reviews unless I do get bad service. Shame on you Wednesday crew.
