EDIT: JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THEIRRESPONSE!!! HOPE THIS PLACE CLOSES! HEARTLESS COLD PEOPLE. Disgusting. They killed my cat. They didn’t care to even treat him, they let us make the hardest decisions without giving ANY professional opinion. $800 for an X-ray!!! $4000 for an overnight stay. Disgusting how humans can be without being given money!

Four years ago I took a puppy of mine who was sick to this vet and they charged me 400 dollars to tell me he swallowed a weed stem. They provided zero treatment for my dog besides telling me this, and then when I stated I did not have the full amount on me, they threatened to euthanize my puppy if I could not come up with the full amount of money. My dog is alive now despite their "care" and I've been going to a competitor who actually does treatment before demanding a choice between treatment or euthanasia.

I called their phone line regarding an emergency that had just occurred to my dog to find out what were the best options. Their phone line asks you to click 1 if it’s an emergency, then someone picked up the phone , said they were putting me on hold, and kept me on hold for 20 minutes . If they know it’s an emergency I don’t understand why they put you on hold for so long. It probably would’ve been longer too if hadn’t hung up and taken my dog somewhere else with better service. It shows how much they care about the pets they’re serving.

Read this please, if you have time or if you are about to take your baby to VCA. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Please, for the love of GOD, do NOT take your fur babies to this place if you care about them. All the people here want to do is swindle you out of money. About a month ago, I had went in for a sick kitty, she wasn't doing well at all. We were first charged $400 on the spot from the priority list and it's nearly $1000 for an x-ray, which is unbelievable. I know that VCA is trying to make money but $3000 a day to let my baby stay overnight and they can't confirm that she would be alright? I wish I could've took her somewhere better. The doctor had also told me that the best option for her is to be euthanized, and that she would pass away on the car ride home. All they do is LIE to you! They play with your emotions so they can take money from you! I mean if you have the time and money to spend $3000 a day, then go for it. My cat had passed away the following night, in good hands with her loved hands. I just had to get that off my chest. Again, don't take your fur babies here unless you have the money.

The doctors and staff are amazing, they saved our little girl's life! She had stopped eating, was vomiting, lethargic & was struggling to breath. When we brought her in she was in critical condition & they took her in right away, fortunate for us, as they were at full capacity & had to refer others to other hospitals. The doctors and staff are so attentive and kind. She had to be put on IVs, and tests found that she was diabetic and needed insulin. The doctors & staff called every day & kept us up on her status. She is 11 years old & never been away from home. We visited her twice a day for a week. The staff were very accommodating & would review what was being done, her levels and how she was doing. We can't thank them enough for all they've done & continue to do to monitor her health.

Everyone who attended to my dog was incredibly kind. They really care about you and how your dog is doing until you go pick them up to take them home. It’s an amazing atmosphere.

I concur with the majority of comments. On two recent occasions, I had to leave because they insisted on checking in and "stabilizing" my pet until the surgeon arrived the next day. Due to prioritizing more urgent cases, surgeries often begin around 11, and they charge by the hour. Additionally, they prefer keeping pets for a minimum of 2 days, resulting in a bill of approximately 7K MINIMUM. It's advisable to find a reputable clinic where your pet can undergo surgery, and your doctor has a personal connection with your pet. Consider alternatives unless absolutely necessary. I have used their packages, regular doctor visits, and emergency services.

This veterinarian hospitals priority is the money not the animals. I paid over 3000.00 upfront trying to save my precious cat i loved so much. First they said 1200 then 3000 then 6000 when I told them I couldn't afford to pay anything more they immediately stopped giving her anymore care and sent her back home with no medications are anything more she needed to keep fighting. She stopped eating again 2 days and I needed to take her back but they wanted 1600 upfront to try and help her I couldn't afford it so I had no choice but to take her back home and she died today.

If I Could Give This Place Negative Stars You Bet Your Sweet Bippy I Would. Went In Friday For A Sick Cat & Was Completely Stereotyped By The Doctor & Told My Cat Was Going Through THC Poisoning. I Was Told All Of Her Symptoms Fell In Line With Being In A Toxic State Minus Fast Breathing. Her Stomach Was Inflamed But The Vet Said That It Was Most Likely Due From Her Not Digesting Her Food As That’s A Result Of The Poisoning As With A Couple Other Symptoms. I Left Home As They Said It Shouldn’t Be Something To Worry About & The Next Morning She Still Hadnt Eaten & Was Breathing Hard & Making Small Whimpers. Took Her To A Vet In Fountain Valley & Had To Be Transferred To A Specialist Because They Are Concerned About The Fluid Build Up In Her Stomach & That Not Once Did Either Of The Other Vets Think For A Second It Was THC Toxicity. All This Place Has Done Was Bleed Me Out Of My Money As The Vet Here STRONGLY Recommend A Drug Test While The Specialty Vet Said They Wouldn’t Have Even Offer That Because That’s Not Anywhere Near What She Is Displaying. Requested A $1200 Deposit & Was Still Charged More Just To Have Them Give Me The Wrong Diagnosis & Put My Animal Further At Risk.

I should have look at the reviews before taking my dog there. They wanted to charge me $6800 for emergency spay. My dog was pregnant and the puppies were stillborn. She was having a hard time passing them on her own. I love my dog but I'm not rich and can't afford that.

Had a scheduled appointment at 3:30 for my dogs blood work. No one came out here to tell me that she is ready for pick up. It’s about to be 5 hours. And they call a different number on record instead and said that she was ready 30 mins ago but they didn’t tell me as I was waiting here and I have asked 3 different times if she is ready.

Really, I’ve walked in with a dog in acute distress twice and been told to wait for the day doctor. It’s two AM, three AM. Waiting 5 hours without any assessment is not ok. Extreme anxiety, itching and crying is distress. Paralysis of the rear legs starting 2 hours ago is acute distress. You need to close after 5 pm since emergency services are not truly available. We’re out of O2, so if your pet can’t breath you should go somewhere else, she breathing just fine. It’s $450 extra if you want CPR, she’s not gasping for air or loosing consciousness. I get price transparency, but this feels wrong. When I’ve made daytime appointments I have waited for hours. What’s the point of an appointment that I waited weeks for if I can’t be seen in a reasonable time.I did have a different dog go in with gasping for air. He had heart failure. We were treated with dignity and compassion. He was put to sleep that day. It was two very difficult hours. I considered that a good experience weighing everything that happened that day. After five years of subsequent bad experiences I will be sure to never come back.
