When we had all the giant life threatening fires last year and we literally was demanded to evacuate, myself and couple others stayed here, even though it was scary just couldn't leave my house or my animals. I went over to the Brownsville Fire Dept talk with them and they explain to me where all the ways was closing in but they were working day and night to get these giant fires out, we didn't give up and they did'nt give up. They had 100's of Firemen, bulldozers, fire planes, all the men and women every age on foot working their butts off day and night. I'm very grateful to Brownsville Fire Department and all the 100's and 100's of Firemen and Firewomen that came from everywhere to help us out. I fell in November and broke my hip and when they got to my house they all took such good care of me and my husband who is disabled and made it so I didn’t need to worry about my broken hip or my husband!
