Not sure this location exists anymore. Made a reservation, showed up, no one there but other customers wondering where the office was. There was one truck in the parking lot but no way to rent it. There was a metal awning that has fallen over the front gate. Called the number and left a message, and went to a different uhaul. Got a call back later, but the description seemed to fit the other uhaul location, so it may have been the other location was answering their messages.

I can't believe how awful this experience was! I mean, seriously, the lady name Maria who works there so unfriendly, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. It's like they couldn't care less about their customers. And to top it all off, they didn't even bother to do any work! They just sat there, probably twiddling their thumbs or something. And get this, unlike other U-Haul offices, they had the audacity to make me do the rental reservation online. Can you believe it? I wasted hours of my precious day dealing with them! Ugh!

I rented a 10 foot truck from U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer on Nordhoff from Richard (the business owner), and I he billed me twice. When I phoned him to let him know he was not willing to help me in the least, instead saying that I needed to contact U-Haul corporate HQ to ask about a refund. When I asked him why I should have to contact the U-Haul Corporate HQ to resolve an issue that was created by him, and who would credit me for my phone minutes personal time spent resolving the issue, he became really rude and refused to help me any further. When I called the U-Haul Corporate HQ at (800) 468-4285 I was placed on hold for quite a long time by the representative. She eventually came back on the phone to let me know there was "Glitch", and that I should receive a refund in the next 5 to 7 days. She said that it is NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to contact their customers that had been double billed. Isn't double billing a form fraudulent? I wonder how many U-Haul customers were double billed and how much interest they have accrued on the monies received through their "Glitch". At the time of the sale I thought Richard was an honest business owner. I now just think he is a lazy crook... or maybe U-Haul practices bait and switch tactics... or perhaps both. At either rate I have filed a complaint with BBB, and highly recommend that you choose another vendor to work with. If you you have no choice but to do business with U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer on Nordhoff you may want to check your account for double billing. Crooks! I gave U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer on Nordhoff a one star review only because Yelp does not have an option for a zero star review.

I am not sure of the names of the two guys that helped me but they were there on 8/6 in the a.m. They were very helpful, they helped me make my decision easier and saved me a lot of money. They cared about my concerns. I recommend this location!
