Nice little park hidden away in Baumont. The camping spots have fire pits and room for tents as well as RVs. Plenty of space at the park for picnics and for kids to run around. A little pond for kids to toss rocks into. The place was empty when we were there except for a few campers, but it was on a cool weekday.Playground: Was closed for repairs but their were men working in it.Restrooms: Clean and openDog-friendliness: I saw dogs there. Plenty of walking trails to take them onPicnic area: Ample room for picnicking

Couldn't pay me to fish here again. Was great about 2 years ago when they first re-opened. Horribly lack pond maintenance. Water weeds through-out the whole pond. Attacked baby hundreds of paper wasps the entire time! Over crowded with baby tilapia (nuisance). Price for kids wayy to high, as well as adults not to mention an entry fee on top of it all. They Lack to stock the lake enough. You couldn't pay me to go back. Not untill my complaints this on this review have been changed fixed and cleaned.

I gave 4 stars but not soo much for the park but for the park kiosk rep Kristine Carlson.I live close to the park and have pleasure of visiting this park multiple times and my experience was elevated to new heights thanks to the outstanding service provided by Kristine Carlson. On her last day working at the kiosk, Kristine showcased an incredible level of dedication, friendliness, and genuine warmth that truly made my visit unforgettable. From the moment I approached the kiosk when I first met her, Kristine's welcoming smile and positive energy immediately caught my attention. Her enthusiasm for the park and her role as an employee was palpable, and it instantly made me feel excited and eager to explore all that the park had to offer.Kristine's extensive knowledge about the park's attractions, trails, and amenities was truly impressive. Not only did she provide detailed information, but she also took the time to understand my preferences and interests, ensuring that my visit would be tailored to my needs. Her insightful recommendations and personalized suggestions were invaluable in creating a memorable itinerary. What truly stood out about Kristine was her genuine passion for making visitors feel welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure that each person approaching the kiosk felt seen, heard, and valued. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel instantly at ease, as if I were speaking with a longtime friend. It was evident that she genuinely cared about creating positive experiences for every individual she interacted with.Throughout my time at the park, I noticed Kristine's infectious enthusiasm spreading to other visitors. People were drawn to her friendly charm and sought her assistance, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere at the kiosk. It was clear that Kristine's presence had a significant impact on enhancing the overall park experience for everyone. As Kristine bids farewell to her role at the kiosk, I can't help but feel a sense of loss for the park and future visitors. Her exceptional customer service skills, genuine kindness, and ability to connect with people on a personal level are rare qualities that truly set her apart. The park will undoubtedly miss her warm presence and the positive energy she brought to each interaction.Thank you, Kristine, for going above and beyond to make my day at the park truly exceptional. Your outstanding service, warm personality, and genuine dedication will be greatly missed. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

It was a very peaceful Sunday afternoon nice and sunny day. Spent it along with my parents and my 8 year old boy. Did some trail hiking and also checked out the playground. Also sat around the pond on one of the picnic benches and had some munchies. A few hours of fun and relaxation.Playground: Good size and clean area.Restrooms: Neat and clean smells goodPicnic area: A lot of benches and BBQ grills to choose from. Nice and green grass too. Good to run around and kick a ball, play catch even throw a freesbe around.
