“My son and I were driving his new/old Tacoma down from Portland and we started having clutch issues. As fate would have it we made it to Chico, home of the foremost vintage Toyota specialist in the world (maybe exaggerating a bit). We called Dan the morning before a holiday weekend and he squeezed us in. We needed an obscure 1995 clutch pedal to get back on the road; Dan had one, new old stock. Incredible. In a couple of hours, as opposed to likely a couple of weeks, we were motoring. Chico Car care was a godsend for us in a pinch. I can only imagine how well they’ll take care of you with enough time to schedule regular service. Thanks Dan”

“I took my 2011 Subaru here when the clutch went out. These guys did an amazing job with my new clutch, as well as the chronic Subaru problems of aging timing belt and head gasket weakness. My car sits in the sun and doesn't move 10 months of the year, which creates unique problems. They fixed it up and gave the hoses and seals some care, and I am so grateful for their honest assessment and professionalism. The service was prompt and up-front; it is such a relief to find someone in this industry who is forthright and not trying to take us for a ride. We will be back with all our vehicles. “Jim is the best, my wife took our Odyssey to Witmeier Honda here in Chico and they gave her an insane quote for repairs and assure that the Alternator was broken and possibly the AC compressor could have "Black death" and might be the case to replace all of it + the power steering + the belts. I told her that was insane and we should get a second opinion so we took it to Jim, who check it out on a Wednesday and told me that needed to be replaced where the alternator and AC brackets and get the belts.He had done and running two days later. So if you have a Honda never go to Witmeier take it to Jim he is the best!”
